21.01.2022 Ive been a bit quiet on the gram of late, for a few reasons. Ive been helping out as kombucha assistant, doing what I can for my love to get his dream biz @kombu.kombucha off the ground. Ive also been working towards my next professional challenge and Im excited to say I will be going back to study for the next few years to specilise in paediatric dentistry. Its funny how I started 100 of one as a means to escape and cope with the stresses of work. At one point I even th...ought about giving it up completely. As Ive evolved with time, I have realised that jewellery has in fact allowed me the space to reconnect and fully appreciate my dental career, in a way that I hadnt before. Its forced me to face some hard truths, things I needed to work on, and now emerge on the other side a stronger and more resilient version of myself ready and fearless for whats next. What does that mean for 100 of one? Its hard to say what the next 3 years of study will involve however its unlikely that 100 of one can exist in the same way as it currently does, purely as I wont have the time to give it the energy it deserves. So 100 of one is going into hibernation, sooner rather than later actually, as I have a couple of overseas trips planned and also moving house which means packing up the studio. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has supported me on this journey, its been the most rewarding experience and has helped me realise my strength as a person. On the 23rd of July (two weeks!) my website will close indefinitely and this is also the date for last orders. If youve had a piece in mind please order now to avoid disappointment!
