25.01.2022 @integrativeosteopathyau has got his serious face on for his 24kg bells. By the way.. we’ve got only one 24kg kettlebell left in stock! Who wants the last one?

25.01.2022 How to hold a kettlebell correctly is one of the first struggles in kettlebell training. What we see so often (and sadly not corrected by trainers) is people holding their bells in a way that hyperextends their wrists, which would eventually lead to injury. Let’s start with the most crucial point: STRAIGHT WRIST: When your bell is resting in rack position or overhead, your wrist should be straight, not bent backwards. Creating hyperextension in the wrist, plus the weight of... the bell creates a huge amount of pressure on the wrist! Not pleasant especially in the long term.. HANDLE AT 45 DEGREE ANGLE: Take a look at the Correct photo. The handle of the bell is sitting at a 45 degree angle across the palm towards the outer wrist - this is how it should be done. Conversely, if you had the handle straight across the palm like in the Incorrect photo, there simply is no way to keep the wrist straight (try it)! NO GAP BETWEEN WRIST AND BELL: This would happen naturally if the hand were inserted correctly at a 45 degree angle. There should be little to no gap between the outer wrist and the bottom corner of the window. If you’ve been struggling with this, hope this helps! Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

20.01.2022 If you’re a beginner to kettlebells, 8kg kettlebells are the ideal starting weight. Kettlebell technique is very different from barbell technique, so don’t assume just because you know how to perform a barbell clean means a kettlebell clean will come easy! If you’re thinking of starting but you’re just not sure how, drop us a DM and we’ll get you sorted. : @natewellstraining

18.01.2022 Max Liddle unboxing his 18kg bell. One lighter and one heavier bell is a perfect combination. Use the lighter one for cleans, presses and the heavier one for anything two handed - swings, squats.. and have you tried kettlebell jump squats? Thanks for the share Max!

17.01.2022 What is the kettlebell hinge swing and how do you do it? Swipe to find out more! When you’re a newcomer to kettlebells and you first learn a swing, you’d mostly probably learn what we call the basic swing which is perfect for getting comfortable using the bell. But as you advance and get introduced to one arm swings, cleans and even snatches, having the hinge swing in your back pocket actually comes in super handy, since it mimics the first half of those movements. Step 1: Be...nd This is the same starting point as a basic swing - bending the knees slightly with the bell between the legs. Remember, this is NOT as deep as a squat. Step 2: Back Here’s where it differs from a basic swing. Hinge from your hips, tip your chest forward to 90 degrees or so, and let knees move back to lock out and straighten. Step 3: Bend Swing the bell from behind the legs and you’ll pass through the bend position once again. Step 4: Up Follow the momentum to swing your bell up around chest or eye level. If you’re new to hinge swings, try putting the 4 steps together without a kettlebell first. Once you’re able to get a seamless rhythm, try it with your bell. Do you prefer basic or hinge swings and why? Comment to let us know!
