23.01.2022 Rightio! Were planning the menu for Larapinta and while were happy with what were thinking, we want to know what YOU think we should be whipping up! We have to be able to cook it on a BBQ and we need meals for breakfast and dinner. we have a fridge and access to fresh food also. We need to consider, vegetarian, vegans and celiacs as well so dont just say Bacon and Egg Rolls and Steak Sandwiches.. we can think of that. 21.01.2022 Day 1 of our trek in Bungonia in the NSW Southern Highlands. So many amazing images to share with you when we get back. Yes it was a cold start but man it was worth it! 06.01.2022 Day 3 - Reconnaissance in Kosciuszko. Today we did two walks. Started the morning on the Illawong Trail 6.5km return, we were spoilt to have a swim above the tree line in the crystal clear waters of the Snowy mountains. We returned to camp for a gourmet lunch and then headed to Thredbo to walk Dead Horse Gap track. This track was abundant with the beautiful flora and fauna from the gorgeous snow gums to native wildflowers took our breath away. We are so excited to be introducing this adventure to our community. 04.01.2022 At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month we remember them. For those that paid the ultimate sacrifice, we remember you and we thank you. For those that came home, we want you to know that you are not alone. There are only two groups that I will support, Legacy and the Poate Family who I am honoured to call friends. If you have trekked Kokoda with me you have seen his face and heard his name. This video will bring the story of Private Robert Poate and the horrible ...nightmare that his parents Hugh and Janny and his sister Nicola will never forget. Please watch this and please share this video and let’s get behind the Poate’s and give them our full support. Lest we forget.
