23.01.2022 Just wanted to share - I wrote and produced a short promotional jingle / song for the UBSS (business) College where I deliver a couple lectures per week on Entrepreneurial Business Skills / Entrepreneurial Marketing. The school then arranged their key admin staff to lip sync the lyrics where they have produced a cute promotion video that they are using as a marketing teaser here in Australia and around the globe for their international agents and students, as an advert. I ha...d fun writing, singing and producing this piece, ACADEMIC PANDEMIC, and wanted to share with my 101 Music colleagues and fans. The video was filmed, scripted and produced by Kim Sharma at UBSS. Academic Pandemic, written and inspired from the last moment panic that the College and students had to face back in early April 2020 when they had to urgently move to on-line delivery. During my lectures on-line from that day forward, and as many other lecturers are also doing, I (we) use this piece of music and 'lyric sheet' to open and close the 3- hour lectures. It's a pre-requesite for my students to learn it and perform as part of their final marketing video presentation on entrepreneurship. 20.01.2022 Met with Mr Claus today was difficult to get the meeting but I explained the ‘urgency’ as I needed to know how America will do tomorrow as I expressed my deep concerns. Mr Claus clearly stated: I’ve discussed your concern with Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and Rudolph, the head of team deer, told me it depends on who’s really been naughty and nice! We think the loser is very Grumpy, extremely Dopey, certainly NOT a Doc, very un-Happy, ...not at all Bashful as he’s extremely Sleezy and very Sneaky. Thank you Santa.....

And also much love to all my family and friends... lots of hugs and thoughts your way... always. Be safe, be well, be smart, and don't take any shit from the CV - don't allow it to encompass your life, as it will deplete your own immune system with negative energy. Be POSITIVE, clear the stress, clear the pounding of the situation, enjoy the m...oments (in isolation if needed) and open a damn good bottle of vino and / or whisky extraordinaire......... mamma mia. Enjoy this change in human life... we shall get thru it with positive energy individually and as a group connection. I only realized today, the planet is clearing its emissions garbage, its self / individual focus, of self / selfish destruction, and it is NOW giving us a wake up call to whom we really are and who we really should be....caring, people in a world where appreciation for the little things are all that is IMPORTANT.... and, in saying that - KEEP USING 101s Music - and keep the love in the Phillips family and with the best of friends. This audio clip is of a live performance from recording vocal artist Dory Previn & Band on the Old Grey Whistle Test television show, London England, 1977 with Art Phillips (owner of 101 Music Pty Ltd www.101.audio - www.artphillips.com) on acoustic guitars, electric guitars and mandolin, Peter Jameson on acoustic guitars, slide and e-bow, and Tom Kellock on acoustic piano and synth keyboards. Dory... Previn was an American lyricist, singer-songwriter and poet. During the late 1950s and 1960s she was a lyricist on songs for many famous motion pictures and, with her then husband, André Previn, received several Academy Award nominations for their compositions. Together they wrote five songs for the movie 'Valley of the Dolls'. 09.01.2022 Sadly we have lost another great musician/songwriter - R.I.P. Spencer Davis (July 17, 1939 ~ October 19, 2020)... such a influential artist, writer and performer. Condolences to the Davies (Davis) family and friends. Back in '77, whilst I was touring as guitarist with Dory Previn (folk artist), Great Britian tour 1977, I bought Spencer's gorgeous 1969 Gibson 12-string acoustic, which I still use today in the studio.....pic attached.
