24.01.2022 Termination of Pregnancy Bill 2020 Public Meeting, Seaview Christian College Gym, Sunday 22nd Nov., 1.00 pm. This bill relates to a very controversial and challenging part of human experienceno one would say it’s an easy thing to sort out. There is a woman with her authentic needs, who is our sister, and there is a small and vulnerable human being, who has a right to our love and care. The Bill aims to remove legal oversight of Abortion in South Australia. It means that ...there would be no restrictions upon abortion, including the age or viability of the unborn child up to the day of birth. It also means that doctors would no longer have the right to decline to refer a patient to another doctor willing to perform an abortion it says they MUST refer. A doctor’s conscience is to count for nothing. Abortion is already widely available and accessible in SA. No one needs this bill. It’s a quiet but huge shift in our community’s sense of just who is entitled to receive care and love. We need to oppose this Bill, with every peaceful means at our disposal. The bill is co-sponsored by Hon Michelle Lensink MLC and Hon Vicki Chapman, Deputy Premier. Please pray about this. It would be important for our parish to be well-represented at this meeting. 23.01.2022 CHILD PROTECTION SUNDAY - Sunday 13th September. Our diocese has received beautiful small jigsaw puzzles for the younger children to do, with good Child Protection messages. If your family would like one, just give the parish a call on 86422847. Children who are at Mass on 13th will be invited to bring their completed puzzle forward, as we reflect on our commitment to the care, wellbeing and protection of children and young people.
23.01.2022 First Holy Communion Parent Night Wednesday 16th September 7.00 pm All Saints Church - all welcome. This is for families with children in Grade 4 or above who wish to enrol their children in preparation for First Holy Communion. Families with children in State Schools are very welcome to enrol. We will provide a home formation program supported with one or more visits to your home by Sisters Delma and Sheela. If you've missed out on Sacrament of Reconciliation in Grade 3 we can catch this up at the same time. Let's put in a prayer for the young people across our city, for this opportunity to meet Jesus in the Eucharist, as their friend, their rock, their mighty Lord, throughout the rest of their lives!
22.01.2022 Daylight Saving - please put your clocks forward one hour tonight, especially if you're a 10.30 am Mass person.

08.01.2022 All Saints Catholic Church supports NAIDOC Week 2020. Scroll down to find the full program commencing Monday and concluding Saturday. The March is on Friday at 11.00 am from Gladstone Square, but there's plenty of other great activities. Let's get on board with NAIDOC Week. Black Lives Matter. Of course ALL lives matter, but when you look at the statistics of Aboriginal deaths in custody, it would make you think Black Lives don't matter, and that just has to CHANGE. Loving God, change our hearts and minds, that all may enjoy the good things of your creation, without anyone losing their life simply because of the colour of their skin.
05.01.2022 Children's Liturgy of the Word - cancelled, just for this Sunday, to give families the chance to change to 6.30 pm Mass if possible. This is because we have First Holy Communion at 10.30 am Mass, and we need to fit a number of visitors in, under our 130 persons limit (Covid-19 safe plan).
