15.01.2022 Just returned from four days on the incredible Three Capes Track... walking solo and as the only Tasmanian in the cohort, it was a joy to sit and anonymously li...sten to folk from NZ, Colorado, Canada and the rest of Australia talk about the beauty, and the extraordinary experience that Three Capes delivers. Having mountain biked and walked all over Tasmania, Australia and around the world - it is safe to say that Three Capes is unrivalled. Trail huts designed by JAWS architecture were sublime. Parks rangers Donnalee and Kat were amazing. Pennicott's boat and bus trip to start and finish the journey were so Tasmanian. So many joyous moments - not the least of which was the young couple who told me over breakfast on the fourth day that they had done a pregnancy test out on Cape Pillar the day before - POSITIVE.
