25.01.2022 What a glorious Full Moon - a magnificent clear sky - looks so bright and amazing - the perigee ( closest the moon will be to the earth this year) AND I’m celebrating the successful completion of my debut online - the 108 drumming circle via Zoom for the first time Had to be inside for the technology to work so I’ve been soaking up the moonlight since. In attendance for the circle was Milo ( my daughters dog who is staying with me for veterinary care ) He was such a good boy - behaved - didn’t squeak his squeaky toys - just flat out asleep
23.01.2022 A beautiful drumming circle on Saturday evening for the Autumn Equinox and the approaching New Moon - the shared intentions and connection in our circle at 108 felt like a really deep blessing in challenging times - I’m deeply grateful to the drumming circle for the inspiration and good spirits which help us to lift each other in harmony and trust. The gorgeous pink light lining the clouds felt precious as an extra gift to the decision to go ahead with our planned circle - respecting restrictions but not in fear My drumming this morning is to see beyond the panic - allow friendships and family connections to continue the best we can - we are here to break barriers so we can expand from the present doldrums and embrace the life that is in each of us - how can we infect each other creatively with new ways of being our best???

20.01.2022 How the sacred site 108 - came into recognition
20.01.2022 This evening I helped a family to say gentle goodbyes to their 16 yo dog - a much loved family member. There were 3 generations of the family present and the ab...ility to support and comfort each other was very touching - such deep sadness is commonly expressed when I share time with the family. How can we support and comfort each other in these difficult times - although there are chaotic times at the shops, I see many posts offering help to those in self isolation or just needing some assistance with getting basic items. This Saturday evening we are meeting for a New Moon drumming circle / acknowledgement and utilisation of the energy of the Autumn Equinox to bring positive change rather than succumbing to distress and despair. My invitation is to join us in spirit at 630 pm on Saturday evening - reflect on all the opportunities we have to bring change for the highest potential - don’t buy into the panic and fear - create positive connection and belief in these forced measures actually bringing more compassion for each other and the time to look at where we can help bring in higher vibration to shift what no longer serves us or Mother Earth See more
19.01.2022 Spiritual practice with Milo. He knows the routine - the indicators that let him know time on the couch is now. He waits for the signal to hop up next to me -... into his position He goes to sleep whilst I drum and pray for the intentions that come to mind, he’s holding space for the sacred connection with all life. I’m grateful for all that I am blessed with and my deepest gratitude for the animals that guide me in simplicity. I’m listening to the black cockatoos conversing loudly (squawking ) from the tall trees - amazing creatures that have a powerful purity about them. The tiger drum resonates the heartbeat of Mother Earth, bringing calmness and grace. May all beings be peaceful - share their voices and value freedom in their innocence, creating positive change for the world for all to unite in harmony.
18.01.2022 Thank you to all of those who joined us on the zoom circle last night as well as those who joined in spirit My sincere gratitude to Ayu for yr hospitality for Milo and I as well as the technical expertise AND spiritual guidance brought to the group. To each and every one - thank you - I’m reflecting ( and recovering ) back here on my peaceful hill - the card I got last night was Mountain - the words which jumped out - the current situation calls for you to be vigilant, but... not to the point of fear or paranoia - Goes on to say - standing steady like a rock is what is called for at this time- This fits Ayu with ur msg of buttressing AND my acknowledgment at each circle of the solid rock in Bedfordale I felt that solid rock in our circle last night - each contribution with yr presence and intention is sooooo important so in the energy of Self Worth which I spoke of - please stand tall in ur own self belief See more
18.01.2022 Dear friends I’m nervous and excited to announce our drumming circle is going online for the Full Moon next week - I love and value our physical circle where we have been able to connect and hold space together for wonderful intentions, but present circumstances require some technical shifts to connect us - without losing the magic of the circle. I’m in the process of learning how to host a Zoom meeting and realise that the role is quite different from just being a partici...pant - however others have not experienced Zoom meetings at all so there are a few steps to put in place in the next few days so you can participate confidently and I can host without disruption The change to online format will be adjusted from our traditional ceremony without losing the focus of drumming and praying for collective intentions. No experience is needed in being in a circle - you don’t have to say or do anything - how you participate is within your comfort zone. You can be inside wrapped up in a comfy spot, or outside watching the moon - just need to have adequate wifi/internet capacity I strongly believe that our world needs our prayers at this time and I welcome the opportunity to share this with you - for the Highest good of all, the greatest potential for harmony, compassion and kindness, and freedom. So in Dec 2014 I overcame my anxiety about hosting a Shamanic drumming circle but it was a strong conviction it needed to happen so we could make 108 a sacred site. Now after 5 years of being the circle keeper, the opportunity to go online - means I need to learn how to do this, and Im motivated by the prospect of continuing our circles during imposed restrictions, as well as having participants previously excluded by distance. This also means we can have a format for the rituals online as well as invite individuals to contribute their special talents from wherever they are - exciting and enthusiastic baby steps - just lets do this See more
18.01.2022 What if............. The virus is here to help us? To reset.... To remember. What is truly important. Reconnecting with family and community. Reducing travel so the environment, the skies, the air, our lungs, all get a break. Parts of China are seeing blue sky and clouds for the first time in forever with the factories being shut down. Working from home rather than commuting to work (less pollution, more personal time). Reconnecting with family as there is more time at home. An invitation to turn inwards a deep meditation rather than the usual going out to self soothe. To reconnect with self what is really important to me? A reset economically. The working poor. The lack of healthcare access. The need for paid sick leave. How hard does one need to work to be able to live, to have a life outside of work? To face our mortality check back into living life rather than simply working, working, working. To reconnect with our elders who are so susceptible to the virus. The presence of Grace for all. There is a shift underway in our society what if it is one that is favorable for us? What if the virus is an ally in our evolution? In our remembrance of what it means to be connected, humane, living a simpler life, to be less impactful/more kind to our environment. It was time for a change, we all knew that. We have discussed this b...ook before - because in our 108 drumming circle we start with sharing our intentions - individual and collective - knowing that we can use our intentions and thoughts to change the world - when we gather together and connect our hearts and our intentions via the drums, there is a deep feeling of energetic manifestation - I ask for this vibration to be sent out to the 4 directions and to all people. This is why I ask for your thoughts and prayers for animals when I’m helping them to pass, and for other intentions as they arise I KNOW wherever we are - we can connect via these prayers and intentions and we can change the energy for the highest good of all - it is how we serve each other in love and harmony, with respect and compassion. I will put you in the fire, I will undress you, and I will sit you on the earth. I will bathe you with herbs, I will purge you, and you will vomit the rage and the darkness inside you. I’ll bang your body with good herbs, and I’ll put you to lay in the grass, face up to the sky. Then I will blow your crown to clean the old memories that make you repeat the same behaviour. I will blow your forehead to scare away the thoughts that cloud your vision. I will blow your throat to release the knot that won’t let you talk. I will blow your heart to scare fear so that it goes far away where it cannot find you. I will blow your solar plexus to extinguish the fire of the hell you carry inside, and you will know peace. I will blow with fire your belly to burn the attachments and the love that was not. I will blow away the lovers that left you, the children that never came. I will blow your heart to make you warm, to rekindle your desire to feel, create and start again. I will blow with force your vagina or your penis, to clean the sexual door to your soul. I will blow your hands to destroy the ties that prevent you from creating. I will blow your feet to dust and erase the footprints memories, so you can never return to that bad place. After this, you will cry, and after crying you will sleep, And you will dream beautiful and meaningful dreams, and when you wake up I’ll be waiting for you. Because what I’m offering today, was offered to me before when darkness lived within me. And after I was healed, I felt the darkness leaving, and I cried. 11.01.2022 1st March 2021 - I’m the candidate for Darling Range for the NO MANDATORY VACCINATION PARTY in the WA 2021 state election in 12 days - My reasons: 1. with... 35 years experience as a veterinarian, I feel the discussion around vaccination is too important to be left for others to decide on my behalf. I want to do my own research and maintain the basic human right to make my own choice with informed consent and full disclosure. 2. Having experienced domestic violence personally, and spoken about this experience publicly, I cannot reconcile any suggestion of mandatory vaccination being forced on myself or others - it is a violent action if not with my consent. The Public Health Act 2016 removed the provision for Conscientious objection, which was present in the previous Health Act (1911) Section 275 (i) - this needs to be reintroduced. 3. Coercion for an individual to be vaccinated via restrictions or exclusion - financial ( loss of employment or benefits), social, emotional, physical ( access to travel, gym, entertainment, travel,etc) is effectively mandating vaccination. 4. I am completely committed to having individual choice with informed consent and full disclosure - currently the narrative is one sided with so much censorship of the alternatives. 5. The major political parties and the media use the term antivaxxers which is misleading and disrespectful - in my view if that is the only approach they can use to challenge the valid choice not to be vaccinated, they disrespect the intelligence of many who seek more information and more time to determine their own decision, as well as allowing the options for successful treatment with ivermectin, hydroxychoroquine, etc.
