23.01.2022 Why wait 15 years when you can do it in half the time or less? The learning here - don’t listen to the BBQ mob and do your own research. After about 18 months of walking up and down two streets, talking to neighbours, forming relationships and getting statutory declarations, we are one step further into claiming adverse possession. Communication between Land Victoria, Lawyer and Surveyor has taken a while, but all parties are happy now. All evidence required has been collected and we have confirmation of lodgement. A step in the right direction and hopefully a result not too far away. At around 7700 per m2 (REIV 2018) we decided to give it a shot and why not? that’s approx. $300k of land value we are claiming The motto If you aren’t even in the arena getting your ass kicked. 01.01.2022 A quick update to our last post regarding an adverse possession claim we did a couple of weeks ago. Since lodgement and notices were sent out to the affected parties, no caveat has been received by Land Use Victoria. As such, we now have confirmation that it’s been registered. We’ll take that as a win Learning here is, there is always a way. When someone tells me no it doesn't mean I can't do it. It simply means I can't do it with them . Focus Boom Bang!
