19.01.2022 Y e a r 1 2 P h y s i c s Here are some photos of Year 12 2021 Physics working on their depth study assessment. They had to design and construct a simple launcher. Then they had to test the effects of a variable on the distance travelled or the time in the air. They demonstrated good practical skills in repeating their experiments and controlling variables.

11.01.2022 Wow... another awesome effort!! The Final Presentation of the BrainSTEM Innovation Project - 10 iSTEM On Thursday 19/11, our BrainSTEM group compromising of four Year 10 students - Alexandra, Amelia, Georgia and Stephanie - presented our final project in an online showcase with other schools. Over the course of twelve weeks we had worked together with our mentor (UNSW Astrobiologist) Bonnie Teece, the program creator Sid Verma and Ms Price in order to design and create a 3D ...printed research base on Titan (one of Saturn’s moons). This program was very enlightening and insightful for our whole group as it gave us an opportunity to work with scientists to create a project we wanted to further research. Throughout this program we learned many new things about science and advancements in astro science that are not taught in a school environment. 03.01.2022 This week was the perfect time to gather our Aboriginal students and celebrate them during NAIDOC week 2020. On a warm day we enjoyed some cool and nutritious food and drink. The relaxed gathering was made special by the presence of Yr 7 to Yr 12 students of Bethlehem. Ms Taliana gave a short speech on how much we value the NAIDOC motto this year:... Always Was, Always Will Be. She reminded us all that Australia is an ancient country with a rich, deep and long history of which the Aboriginal peoples are integral. For Ms Taliana and the staff, watching our Bethlehem girls thrive and become strong women, capable of outstanding things, is something that is a source of great excitement and anticipation. Ms Taliana finished by inviting the staff present to pray a special blessing over the girls. As Justise, Kerrie and Maddison wrote NAIDOC week is important because: "It celebrates the history and culture of Aboriginal people and we acknowledge the first people and the longest living culture in the world." #naidocweek2020 #alwayswasalwayswillbe
