24.01.2022 Facebook Australia has partnered with #NAIDOC to launch new tools and initiatives to celebrate Indigenous people, stories, and businesses for NAIDOC Week 2020. Starting 8th November across Facebook and Instagram, Australians will be empowered to connect with this year’s #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe theme and with Indigenous-designed tools, creators, and businesses. ... Exclusively in Australia, Instagram will launch three new Instagram Stories stickers designed by Tyrown Waigana, the Noongar and Saibai Islander artist behind this year’s #naidocweek2020 poster. When you create an Instagram Story, you’ll see the three #NAIDOCWeek stickers at the top of your Stories tray (where you find other stickers and tools like Giphy).
22.01.2022 Keep an eye out for other features set to launch in #NAIDOC2020 from the partnership between NAIDOC, Facebook and Instagram including: Four Stories templates designed by Nungala Creative, led by proud Warumungu /Wombaya woman Jessica Johnson. These templates encourage Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians to connect with the Country they live on, and share the people and organisations that inspire them during NAIDOC Week. A new interactive Indigenous music library within ...the Facebook and Instagram music stickers called ‘Blak Australia’ to highlight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. Top Indigenous creators will develop and share Instagram Guides focused on well-being and connecting to country. Guides are an upcoming feature currently testing with select creators around the world.

This year they're teaming up teaming up with the good folk at Support Act to raise funds and awareness for the Australian music community who has been hit hard by the unpredictable events of 2020. Support Act employs a First Nations Community Engagement/Social Worker, whose role is to ensure that more First Nations artists, crew and music workers access our services. The First Nations Dedic...ated Support Line helps to foster a feeling of cultural safety as it is staffed by First Nations psychologists and other clinicians with cultural awareness training. 14.01.2022 As part of the Fresh Start Fund initiative, ABC KIDS listen commissioned six new Indigenous language tracks for their Lullabies program. To celebrate NAIDOC Week and Aus Music Month, they wanted to share them with you. These beautiful songs, with themes about the natural world and sweet dreams, provide a soothing soundtrack to help little ones gently drop off to sleep.

Channel 75’s openshop will host a special NAIDOC Week show at 1.30pm AEDT on Friday 13 November that will feature a range of diverse products from a collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses and entrepreneurs. The show will be hosted by Jarron Andy, a proud Waanyi, Djiru, Kukuyalanji and Yindinji man from F...ar North Queensland and the first Indigenous TV Presenter in the Home Shopping Industry in Australia. Six indigenous female owned and operated businesses have joined forces with Jarron Andy to present their brand new products including Indigiearth’s Bush Tea Collection & Skincare Formulations, Striking Jarrin Street Yoga Mats, Luxurious silk scarves from Kirrikin, Exclusive Jewellery from Roots and Mirrigal Bush Medijina balms for you skin and senses and Amazing Tea Towel Artworks from Girringun.
