07.01.2022 The VCAS Committee met on Friday evening. 2020 as a Series is CANCELLED with only Deni run back in Feb (as a stand alone event now), and current restrictions no...t allowing us to organize the final round at Avalon. Not unexpected unfortunately, and we held off as long as we could, but ultimately there was no option. Starting to put the 2021 calendar together so heres hoping for a better 2021 season.... (No changes to rules from 2020 proposed) We will look to present the 2019 series tropies at Rd1 next year... Nicholas Charrett (2020 VCAS Chairman)

03.01.2022 Where to start.

03.01.2022 Attention all members SHSCC is cancelling all events As you will all be aware many events nationwide are being postponed due to the current situation with the spread of Covid-19. Medical professionals have been encouraging social distancing and increased hygiene practices to be put in place in order to slow down the spread of the virus and as of Monday 16th there is to be no gatherings in excess of 500 people. Motorsport Australia has today released a revised set of recommen...dations requiring First Aiders to have knowledge of the virus and a designated clean First Aid area as well as other requirements should a person be in a state where they are feared to have been infected. With the seriousness of Covid-19 growing each day and the expectations that maximum numbers of persons at gatherings will continue to decrease, discussions amongst the SHSCC committee today has resulted in the decision to postpone all club events/gatherings until further notice including race events, working bees and monthly meetings. We have a duty of care to our members and the public to help slow the spread of this virus by postponing all non-essential gatherings and it is simply the most responsible thing to do. Please continue to follow the heath organisations guidelines so that we can slow the spread of the virus and not clog our medical facilities and hopefully before too long we will return to our normal day to day practices. Regards Chris Gibson Swan Hill Sporting Car Club President I credit Justin Aylett of Shepparton and District car club for this notice and thinking of the members.
