19.01.2022 After receiving the gritting corn ( same corn used to produce corn chips for human consumption) from our farmer down in the Riverina, its cleaned first- then sliced into approximately 5mm pieces. Its stored in a holding bin afterwards and then sent around back through the cleaner for the final time. 18.01.2022 This paddock has a new variety of Milling Oat called Kowari. Trails had shown similar test weights with slightly less screenings to our current variety Matika. 03.01.2022 This is a paddock of a new variety of milling oats called Kowari we asked a farmer to plant for us. The season so far has been exceptional in the Riverina, but were not out of the woods just yet. We still have to avoid frost and soul-borne diseases caused from a wet start.
