25.01.2022 We would like to thank all of our customers over the past 5 years choosing Flaggy Rock Cafe as their little oasis pit stop. Due to the passing of the owner from a long battle with cancer it is with great sadness that we have had to close the cafe. It is up for sale and we hope that the new owners will continue to provide great food and service for many more years to come.

23.01.2022 To all our "Flaggy Customers", we would like to thank you all for your continued support. Just a heads up - we will be conducting some much needed renovations over the next couple of weeks. We apologies in advance if it gets a little noisy, or if we are not open all day, or if we are not able to supply our full menu at certain times. We will endeavour to keep this to a minimum and after hours where possible. Can't wait to show you our new cafe soon.

10.01.2022 Tarryn and John (aka Managers)of Flaggy Rock Cafe would like to thank all customers for their continued support of the Cafe throughout 2019 and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The Cafe will be closed on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December and 31st and 1st of January. Some of you may have noticed that there is a For Sale sign up outside the front of the cafe. Unfortunately due to continued ill health of the owners and a need to retire completely, the C...afe will need to be sold to assist them with their future. John and I will continue to Manage the property and provide the best food and service as always, until we can hand it over to fresh new owners. 06.01.2022 CALLING ALL GREY NOMADS!! CALLING ALL GREY NOMADS!! Flaggy Rock café is situated on17 acres of fruit trees and natural bush, by the side of the Bruce Highway, between Rockhampton and Mackay. . Currently about 6 acres of ground is looked after- weed spraying, grass cutting, debris removal, general maintenance when required etc. We are looking for an experienced couple with own accommodation to look after the property in our absence. Ideally, you should have agricultural type... practical abilities-tractor driving(for the generator only),zero turn lawnmower, wippersnipper, backpack sprayer, chainsaw. Some basic maintenance ability would be helpful, as well as gutter cleaning!! In return for an average 2 hour day, you would get free water and electricity.
