25.01.2022 Trying to avoid roast quail today with some fresh water and a cool fan. They don't know how lucky they are!

20.01.2022 Freshly picked fat avocados available at the fruit stall today!

20.01.2022 Sweet and funny quails are the latest addition to our little farm in Mons. They're all settled and laying beautifully. Eggs are $3.50 a dozen.

19.01.2022 This big boy is the reason I haven't been selling any eggs for the past month. He's been harassing the chickens and eating all their eggs! Anyone know how to catch a goanna? He'd make a nice Australia Day roast on the BBQ!

19.01.2022 I'm slowly starting to accept that gardening organically means sharing at least half your produce with the local fauna. I don't mind sharing my pumpkins, just not all of them! They're at the stall today.

18.01.2022 All our little farm honey has been sold over the past few months. We now have three active hives, which means so many more bees for the environment and loads more delicious honey. Next honey harvest coming soon...

15.01.2022 Well today, not only the honey was stolen from the stall, but the entire honey basket as well. Dude, if you wanted some free honey or to frolic around with a feminine looking basket to carry under your arm, all you needed to do was ask.

14.01.2022 After the theft of honey, eggs and now the honey basket we unfortunately have to close our honesty stall. Please text Little Farm on 0438 712 706 if you would like delivery of honey or free range chicken eggs in the local area.

13.01.2022 Our 7 year old son is now taking on the big responsibility of looking after all things quail and will be selling the eggs at the stall. He's doing a great job at supplying them with fresh food and water, cleaning out the coop and collecting and packaging the eggs each day. Our quails are kept humanely, living out their days in a large coop where they are free to roam on the ground, hide in long grass, make nests and bathe in sand. Happy quails make delicious eggs.

11.01.2022 Happy Christmas everyone!

11.01.2022 This year, I've been delving into the wonderful world of beekeeping. The first huge harvest will be out at the stall in the next few days. No fake honey here. Just 100% pure, local and raw honey from healthy bees.

09.01.2022 A fresh harvest of honey is available again at the roadside stall. Honey is 100% pure, local and raw. Thanks for supporting your local beekeepers.

09.01.2022 All our honey has sold out but the bee-autiful flowering penda trees around Mons are supplying ample nectar and pollen for the bees, so it won’t be long before the next honey harvest. In the meantime my kids are busy creating a plant stall. They’re selling society garlic, Mauritius hemp and succulents for $2 each.

08.01.2022 Tasty tamarillos are ripe and ready and out at the fruit stall this morning.

08.01.2022 My kids have had a lovely time planting and observing these giant sunflowers grow. Half the seeds went to the spoilt chickens and the other half to the fruit stall. Give them a try in your garden.

06.01.2022 Truly free range eggs from the most spoilt hens in Mons available today at the fruit stall.

06.01.2022 I watched this little fuzzy bee emerging from her cell today. She will have many tasks to perform for three weeks in the hive before venturing out and playing a vital role as a pollinator. Thanks little bee

06.01.2022 After the theft of honey today, I'm seriously contemplating closing our roadside stall. We've recently been experiencing so much more theft than usual and it's disheartening. My kids who look after our birds so well, have had their chicken and quail eggs stolen also. People even steal grapefruit! It's a difficult life lesson for children under 10 to understand. Thank you so kindly to those who do leave the right amount of money in the honesty box or even leave an IOU note. I am so grateful. All the profit from the honey goes right back into maintaining hives and the health of the bee colonies. To those who steal, I hope you enjoy the sting of a bee as karma will find you.

03.01.2022 The 7-pot chilli. Hot enough to spice seven pots of stew and too hot for me to sell. So they're free! Try one next time you stop at the fruit stall.

02.01.2022 @lunarbaboon Thanks for all you do for this planet little bee. #savethebees #beethecure

02.01.2022 The grapefruit tree. Powered by compost and comfrey leaves.

02.01.2022 Thanks Paul Bennett for building me this awesome goanna trap. I will officially do a happy dance if this poser gets lured inside. Check out that tongue!

01.01.2022 Do something great for your heart! Eat some beautiful grapefruit. The powerful nutrient combination of fibre, potassium, lycopene, vitamin c and choline in grapefruit all help maintain a healthy heart. Come try some today!

01.01.2022 Honey bottling on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. I could watch this all day. If you have any empty glass jars please feel free to drop them off at the fruit stall. I’ll happily wash and sterilise them and give them a second life as a honey jar. Any glass jar donations are very much appreciated.
