20.01.2022 I wrote last week about setting your Vision of the Future and keeping it as your focus point so you keep moving forward toward it and don't look back...and a colleague said something to me today that stopped me in my tracks and I had to share it because it is so integral to this whole idea of moving forward toward the future you imagine...to be compelling it has to be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What works even better in my... experience is if you can come up with a joint Vision with your team all contributing and editing down until it is representative of everyone's highest vision and that's what you keep alive as a Business Unit every single day... 06.01.2022 If your Sales Hotline ain't so hot right now it's still a good time to organise conversations with your prospective clients if you're adding VALUE. Who doesn't want to know about the latest information, insights and intel that can help solve your customers big problems as long as you curate it to be relevant. I remember starting a role as Director of Sales for an incentive agency on the day of the start of the GFC - great timing right!!. I panicked initially but then took to... curating content specific to every potential customer's industry and suggested ideas for how to move forward when the economy stabilised and we won loads of business eventually because we cemented relationships based on value during the downtime.
