25.01.2022 Such a lovely lunch date Conrad and I had yesterday with this couple. We only met them briefly a few months back while gem fossicking. They purchased the book and e reader. So very grateful. I really appreciated the positive feedback and support shown from stranger (who are now friends).
20.01.2022 I love to receive feedback from those who have read the book. This lovely lady, I have never met, but I speak to her weekly. She relates to our story very much due to her own family events. It was by chance I stuck up a conversation with a local and it turned out her mother was in a very similar boat as me. Feedback received:... The book states hope and healing, and that’s exactly what you get. The courage,determination and courage is a great read for anyone. I am certainly glad I got to read this book,and I can resonate totally to the fact that the whole thing is reality. When you actually take in the beautiful words,that’s when you actually can learn from Tereasa and her family and never give up. Life is a gift.
20.01.2022 Loving the support from the group of caravanners out at Longreach. Met a beautiful couple all the way from Mareeba in far north Qld. Conrad doesn’t like writing but they were lucky enough to squeeeeze a little note from him on the front page. I was very impressed.
20.01.2022 Very excited. Just had Brian at Signs Qld put the signage on the van to hit the road tomorrow. Hopefully we can sell some books along the way. Not sure where we are headed but starting at Biloela, Emerald and Longreach. No rules, no itinerary, just living!!
19.01.2022 This is just one part of the eye- look how many layers are in that one area. Both eyes then need to synchronise together just to work one little part of the eye. I thought there were 3 parts to an eye... the white, the pupil and the colour.

16.01.2022 Just received notice our book is being advertised in Publisher Weekly which is one of America’s biggest publishing magazines. It is the international news website of book publishing and bookselling including business news, reviews, bestseller lists, commentaries and more. Let’s hope we get some traction here.

09.01.2022 Slowly making our way towards home. We stopped at a Rubyvale (central west Qld) for a few nights. You meet some lovely people in your travels, if you take time to chat. The owners of Rubyvale Caravan park were very accommodating and great to chat with. Vanessa is a registered nurse and was very interested in Conrads journey. She raced over as we were heading out today to buy a copy of the book. She had another caravaner take the picture who was also very interested in his journey. 2 books sold. YEAH!!
08.01.2022 Edit- copy and paste the below as share does not allow the full post to share. Need a little help from friends here... I think I’m finally figuring it out...... It dawned on me while I was in the shower this morning as to why my book is not getting the traction I had originally hoped.... it’s because it’s the truth!!! It goes against the system It gets people to think different and ask questions... all valid and Our RIGHTS!! I have sent so many emails and letters to MSM and retail outlets such as The Today Show (***Conrad kept prompting me to send it to ‘his mate Karl’)A Current Affair, Sunrise, 60 Minutes, Kmart, Big W and 97.3 Fm (I even sent 3 copies for them to give to listeners and personally addressed to a Robin, Terry and Bob only to be told ‘take us off your spam list’) all in the hope that someone might touch base for a copy to read. I have had very little response. Why???... because people don’t like asking questions... People would rather do as they are told... Because money talks and if it’s not someone with a ‘voice’ it’s mute ( prime example 60 minutes recently did a segment on a hosts father who sadly passed due to a system failure) good on her for speaking up... she had the support of MSM, she IS MSM. My guides advised me this morning I’ve been doing it all wrong... ‘don’t rely on another’s voice ... be MY OWN!! ‘ So on that note, I’m hoping my support in Facebook family and friends can help me be a VOICE... please share the book and our journey, please tag overseas friends, please leave feedback, if you know ANYONE in the media feel free to pass on my number I’m more than happy to chat and share a copy of the book or tag them in this post when you share. I KNOW this book can make a difference for so many. I just need to get the audience. I will give you the heads up - my intention is to share the link daily as Facebook is limiting viewing and post accessibility to friends. You can have hundreds of friends but only minimal people see each post. So apologies in advance for this as the headings will be direct going forward to get peoples attention. Note this will be in my bad humour and non conforming way and this may be seen as harsh... NOPE... just being my own voice and it may be loud to some. *** Conrad- ‘mate’ is someone who calls back therefore sorry to disappoint... Karl is NOT your mate. looks like his show ‘this time next year’ is also out.
07.01.2022 Marketing banner picked up from Minute Man press today. Gill Kennedy did a great job. Waterproof and ready for markets and book stalls.
07.01.2022 Conrad had some cardio testing today (12 month follow up) on the way into the hospital we bumped into one of the staff that I chatted to everyday he was in ICU. She remembered us well as she used to have to take me in to his room every visit and was absolutely blown away by how far Conrad has come. She welled up with tears on several occasion when she referenced him and his progress. Conrad was very surprised when she described where he was 18 months ago. ... She was more impressed and overwhelmed when we gave her a copy of our book and I got Conrad to sign it for her under my personal note to her. She was very excited to go back to ICU and let them know his journey so far, along with bookmarks and cards for her to share. A comment was made that the Doctor who worked with us in ICU was very disappointed that he was not interrupted last year when we popped into visit. He remembered Conrad well and had commented that he is a miracle in where he was at that point. We go back in 2 weeks for reports I look forward to popping up to see him after 12 months and to see his reaction. Very proud on many levels.
06.01.2022 It’s been a lovely weekend out at Longreach with a great bunch of people. The support given by so many was lovely. I sold 11 books in our caravanning group and for each book sold we have donated $10 to Royal Flying Doctors. So thank you to the beautiful new friendships we made and for your support of the book. Yeah!!

What a journey for you both, you two fit together like a puzzle, meant to be. I must admit...I am 48 and your book is the 5th one I have read from start to finish. I have no negativity (sorry) at all. I can relate to it from my past traumas that we have been through and dealt with. Very enjoyable reading.

02.01.2022 Tonight is another moment when I struggle and am a little overwhelmed after I receive a beautiful message from a stranger. Someone we bumped into while at a Rubyvale. My moto is ‘if they make eye contact they are fair game’ and this lady was focused on her bag of gems at the wash area. She looked up and said hi... eye contact= fair game. So I’m always in for a chat. My heart fills with gratitude when I find that they enjoyed our company and took the next step to buy ou...r book. Thank you Amanda. My heart is full of joy. See more
