25.01.2022 The toddlers have shown a huge interest in farm animals lately! Check out some awesome photos of the last couple of weeks where the children explored their play spaces using all of their senses..extending on all areas of their development just through playing!

24.01.2022 Today we had a very busy day at ACE Early Learning Centre - We had Santa visit, a Christmas lunch and an afternoon tea. The children absolutely loved seeing Santa and having a traditional Christmas lunch with an assortment of roast vegetables and meat.

21.01.2022 This morning the children watched the small YouTube video The World Caught a Germ, we had lots of discussions around Germs and how things have changed to make sure we stop the Worlds Germ Spreading! The children wanted to make people smile and we spoke about the different things that make them smile, some examples were unicorns, rainbows, hearts, flowers, my family. We decided to do a rainbow walk to make people smile as they walk through our Gate! The children worked so hard and we hope it makes you smile!

20.01.2022 This afternoon at rest time we watched the classic Christmas 1982 movie The Snowman. The children were so engrossed in the movie and it prompted lots of questions and discussion around snow, what snow is made of, and can we make our own snowman!! As the sun is shining making snowman was impossible.... but making sand men was the next best thing!!

13.01.2022 This afternoon the children worked together using loose parts to create a cubby... they discussed that the cubby wont survive the rain showers and thought of different ways to make the cubby stronger to with stand the rain!! How creative are they

13.01.2022 The children loved the messy play activities today! We had 5 different stations of activities set up for the children to use their senses to explore the play trays We also had a hair dressing salon and played some games at rest time! Then after lunch we filled big containers of water and cooled off from the heat water

12.01.2022 The schoolies painted pine cones today. We chose to paint them in Aboriginal Colours and spoke about the meanings of each colour. We also chatted about the upcoming Harmony Week Watch this space to see what we do with our pine cones!!

12.01.2022 As winter is fast approaching we will be focusing on promoting hygiene practices with the children. Today we did a hand washing activity using gloves that had Germs drawn on them and the children had to work hard to wash the Germs off! The children loved this activity. We spoke about the Germs and the ones on our hands that are too hard to see - and how important it is to work hard to wash our hands properly otherwise we can get very sick!!

11.01.2022 Weve been super busy making some improvements to our outdoor environment. The babies and toddlers are so excited to show off their brand new vertical garden which theyve been working on all day together.

11.01.2022 Thank you to the parents that attended the graduation ceremony for our kindy children. We are so proud and excited for them to start their new adventure into primary school. We cant wait to hear how the children go at school and also see some familiar faces around the daycare next year still. The children absolutely loved being recognised for their achievement!

10.01.2022 Today we took a visit to the Peel Community Kitchen to drop off some food items that our daycare community has collected over the last few weeks The staff were so grateful for our donation and all the children were given an icy pole

10.01.2022 The kindy children have been loving learning more about dinosaurs over the past few weeks - today we spent our morning exploring the yard looking for dinosaur pictures and then sat down with the children and matched the dinosaur picture to the right numbers! The children have also been engaging in a number of different dinosaur activities throughout this time.

08.01.2022 OUR VACATION CARE PROGRAM HAS ARRIVED! Our July 2020 Vacation Care Program is here! We have loads of amazing and fun activities planned for our kids this holidays, and we can't wait to see everyone there! This school holidays we will be running our program from Monday the 6th of July - Friday the 17th of July. We will be taking extra health precautions due to Covid-19, and will be ensuring that we have a safe environment for children and staff based on the current governme...nt guidelines. All children and staff will be following safe hygiene practices both on-site and off-site to ensure everyone's safety. PLEASE NOTE: Only children aged 4 and over will be going on excursions. Children aged 3 will not be able to go on the excursions. 08.01.2022 Shaving foam play is always a great experience for the children to discover the different textures that change and reform in their hands. This activity builds the childrens fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination skills and colour recognition. Some children enjoyed this activity so much that they sat for most the morning exploring and getting messy!
