07.01.2022 The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign starts Wednesday, November 25th and there is so much to get involved in, in Townsville!! 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign starting on the 25th November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) running through to the 10th of December (Human Rights Day). It started when activists at the inaugural Women’s Global Leadership Ins...titute in 1991 and continues to be coordinated each year by the Centre for Global Women’s Leadership.
