25.01.2022 For a short period of time today, our school was put into lock-down, due to a burst gas pipe outside of the school. All students and staff were safe throughout this process. We would like to extend our thanks to the Queanbeyan Fire Brigade, who attended and resolved the issue very quickly.

25.01.2022 This week Stage 3 have been working hard with Miss Berry and Miss G to film the production for this year. Stay tuned for the final reveal of their wonderful work! At Queanbeyan East Public School students receive opportunities to be selected to represent and lead across the school.

25.01.2022 This week, our school underwent External Validation. This process sees our school evaluate itself against the Department of Education’s Schools Excellence Framework. This evaluation is then substantiated by two externally parties. The results will be shared with our community when they are finalised. 22.01.2022 Today infants classes had the chance to use Bee Bots, the Light Bot app, and Sphero kits to explore coding. Teaching and learning programs across Queanbeyan East Public School show evidence that they are adjusted to address individual student needs, ensuring that all students are challenged and all adjustments lead to improved learning.

15.01.2022 COVID has changed so many things, but it couldn’t stop our 2021 captain speeches. Well done to everyone that nominated for a leadership position. Thanks also to the wonderful Mr Robertson for having the tech savvy to live stream the event to the community. Mr Danny Scott - Principal

11.01.2022 At the start of 2020, QEPS had plans to put on a musical.... but what we didn't count on was a pandemic. So, we adapted and created a performance that last week was recorded and will be shared with the community in the coming weeks. The students and staff are amazing. What they have managed to put together despite so many COVID related changes has been incredible. The 5/6 students can not wait to share their production with you all. ... 10.01.2022 Today, Queanbeyan East Public School observed one minute’s silence at 11am (during our Remembrance Day zoom assembly), in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

07.01.2022 We LOVE Science Inquiry Friday’s! K-2 are learning so much in their science inquiry groups each week. They are Earth and Space experts!

06.01.2022 Check out thing amazing artwork created by Queanbeyan East Public School students. Last Friday at our NAIDOC week assembly we revealed it to the school community. We will now find a place for it to be displayed in our school.

03.01.2022 Smiles all round this morning at K-2 sport! Year 2 are excelling at leading their groups and Kindergarten and Year 1 are having the best time participating in the activities. Please remind your child to pack their hat every day for school.
