18.01.2022 MEMBER SUCCESS STORY We wanted to give Bianca @biancakatsapas a huge round of applause for her efforts since starting with us nearly 1 year ago when we opened which was only a month after giving birth. Since then she has done her best to get in as often as she can, working with her husband and fellow member Scotty @burro22 so that they can both get their sessions in at the gym. ... Since starting with us post baby Bianca has smashed her results not only dropping 8.4% Body Fat but also putting on 1.4kg on Lean Muscle and in addition to those awesome stats the most important thing is she says she has so much more energy again and hasnt felt this good in so long! 15.01.2022 CENTURION ALERT Congratulations to Mick who has smashed through over 100 visits! Mick has pretty much been in every day since he joined and has given 100% effort every time. Big congrats mate and so awesome to hear what you have achieved and to hear these kind words about your experience so far with us: Have really enjoyed every session of 12RND on the way to my 100 visits. When I joined 12RND Clayfield in February I started out with the 28 Day Results Pack but knew afte...r the after the first session that I was going to sign up long term. I was looking for something different in 2020 and made a decision to be fit as I turned 50. I had gone to the gym for years but was in a rut and got bored with training and eventually stopped training all together so I was looking for something new and challenging and 12 round ticked those boxes - it is addictive. Every session is hard and even though I am the fittest I have been for many years I still find every session hard which is why I love it. I have dropped around 8 kilos, lowered my body fat % heaps and increased my muscle mass. PJ and Dev have been there supporting me every step of the way and have pushed me when I slack off in sessions. I have improved my box jumps from 20 to 24 to 31 and now smash out burpee into 31 box jumps - if someone told I could have done that earlier this year I would have laughed but it is possible with the level of support and encouragement you get at 12rnd Clayfield - it is a great club and I am pumped to have reached the Centurion milestone even though Dev ordered me a female size medium shirt which was not at all flattering !! 11.01.2022 Boxing Workshop Lesson 2: Pivoting Here Jared from @furtheryourfitness explains a crucial movement in the repertoire of a boxer, the Pivot. Being able to direction change quickly, while your opponent is moving toward you, allows you to potentially throw them off guard and engage from a different direction.... The key for this movement is to make it definitive and fast, so the opponent is taken by surprise. To think @camburke you said to us at the beginning you only wanted to do 28 Days, deep down we knew youd be hooked soon enough ! I joined 12RND Clayfield on the premise of kickstarting my post-lockdown fitness, and in anticipation of limiting myself to the 28 day results pack. ... I started with absolutely no boxing capabilities whatsoever - yet from the outset was absolutely hooked! Its incredibly challenging, and therefore exponentially rewarding, to learn a completely new set of skills and develop some semblance of competency within such a limited timeframe.
