25.01.2022 COMING SOON // Our Coaching Screens will take your padwork to the next level. Each boxing round, the Coaching Screen will demonstrate the combo so you can get started on the bag, and give your coach more time for one-on-one padwork to switch things up with footwork, evasion, speed and power. One of the reasons our members get such great results and see quick improvements in their ability and fitness is because of the individual coach support 12RND provides. Each workout, your coach can see you progress and continue to challenge you overtime to push further and further. And with each padwork session, they can continue to increase the intensity and difficulty as you get better over time.

Now that you've kicked off your training and meal plan, and you've set your benchmarks and goals, it's only natural to want to go into overdrive and smash through your workouts. BUT, this isn't a sprint, it's a 6 week challenge designed to set you up for long-term success.... Trish and Naomi are two of our past female Training Camp winners, both of whom have attributed their success in their challenge to the guidance and support provided across Training, Nutrition and Mindset, as well as from their coaches and fellow members. Keep consistent in your training, stick to the Meal Plan and make sure to incorporate ample recovery to boost your progress. Stick to the game plan and you will see results!

This week is our System Reboot, where we enjoy healthy, nutritious and fresh dishes to flood our bodies with vitamins and minerals in a balanced Macronutrient spread. One of this week’s dishes is Baked Salmon, served with baked potatoes, fresh greens and a zesty yoghurt dressing. ... This dish is packed with healthy fats, and is nourishing and filling. Healthy fats are important for decreasing inflammation, for our heart health, increasing our satiety, and also boosting our performance in our workouts! 23.01.2022 In March 2020, 12RND clubs throughout Australia were forced to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We kept our members active with the help of our adapted Training Camp At Home, a 4 week challenge where coaches worked with their members via live-streamed workouts, app workouts, Myzone challenges, goal-setting, Q&A’s and ongoing motivation and support. Our female 06 // Training Camp winner, Trish, a member of 12RND Fitness Coolum, asked if she could give back her $500 cash pri...ze and do something special for her club. Trish felt compelled to give back saying: I’ve lost so much weight that I could go and spend that money on new clothes but I wouldn’t have been able to do this without my coaches and their support throughout isolation. I know what they’ve been through having to close their doors and I just want to be able to support them back. Together with 2XU, we organised to do a videoshoot at 12RND Coolum and gift Trish a $560 collection of 2XU performance wear in her new dress size, after losing 8kg since February. Trish also asked to do the video with her fellow 12RND’er, Naomi (Nomes), who was also the female International winner of the 04 // Training Camp in 2019. This video is dedicated to these two amazing women, Trish and Naomi, their coaches, Conrad, Miranda, Kieren and Meg, and the entire 12RND Coolum community.

21.01.2022 12RND #MelbourneLockdown Update // We recognise that every one of us has been impacted by the Covid-19 crisis to differing degrees, and we want to extend our heartfelt support to those who need it. As of tomorrow, our Melbourne clubs will be closed as per their state’s lockdown requirements, and we want our members, franchisees, managers, coaches, and their local communities to know that we are here for you.... We believe that this is only a temporary setback on our way to recovery as a nation and we will continue our comeback together as one. We call our members fighters because we are resilient. We are bound together on this journey, and our focus remains to stay connected with you no matter what. We encourage our 12RND’ers and the wider community to look out for one another; remember that even through club closures that your health and wellbeing are important. Not just physically, but mentally as well. We know many of you rely on support and accountability to stay motivated and keep on track, so please reach out to our coaches if you need help. 19.01.2022 A HUGE Thank You to all of our incredible members who participated in the 06 // Training Camp. Things were a little different this time around as we kicked off WK01 at home, including our adapted Benchmark exercises, Train:At Home app workouts and livestreamed Zoom sessions. Despite the changes, in just 4 weeks we have seen some incredible results from our members with major improvements both visibly and in your athletic progression.... We have now reviewed all of our entries from members across the globe, AND THE WINNERS ARE... TRISH from @12RNDCoolum + STUART from @12RNDCarolineSprings! Trish said that her Training Camp goal was to become a "fitter, healthier me so I can enjoy life to the fullest", and Stuart fights to be the best role model for his family. Since becoming a member in February, Trish has lost a total of 8kgs, whilst Stuart has lost an incredible 29kgs since October last year! Both Trish and Stuart also smashed their Training Camp benchmarks, displaying tremendous improvements in their overall performance. 14.01.2022 Each challenge, we are blown away by the amazing transformations we see from our members. Congratulations on all of your hard work! A massive thank you to all of who participated in the 08 // Training Camp. We are so honoured to be a part of your health and fitness journey. After reviewing all of our entries across the globe, our panel of judges have decided, AND THE WINNERS ARE...... Amy from @12rndwaggawagga and Troy from @12rndbirkdale! Both Amy and Troy took on the Training Camp like fighters and smashed their benchmarks, displaying tremendous improvements in their overall physical, mental and athletic performance. In just 6 weeks, Amy has lost 9.3kg, with an overall body fat loss of 9.4%, and a muscle gain of 0.4kg. She beat every single one of her initial benchmark scores, including an 8 rep gain to a total of 50 x Push up Into Clean and Press with a Deadball! Meanwhile, Troy lost 7.9kg, dropped 7.3% body fat and gained 0.5kg of Muscle. He also smashed his benchmarks, demonstrating massive improvements in his athletic performance. The key to a strong, sharp and effective Jab, Cross is to ensure that you rotate into each punch, keep your opposite hand up in guard, and maintain constant movement to avoid counter strikes Although we don't spar in the 12RND environment, understanding the application of your combos during padwork will help you to remember the correct form and technique, and develop your own style within your boxing.

For us, fitness doesn't stop with the training - your mental health and overall wellbeing are also a priority to us, both of which are greatly benefited by immersing in community, surrounding yourself by likeminded individuals that motivate one another to achieve their goals. The relationships that are created in our club environment are special for so many reasons. When you walk through our doors, you're not a...lone. Your coaches and your fellow 12RND'ers are there to motivate you, support you, and challenge you to push further beyond any limits you've set for yourself. We train together, but we also have fun, we socialise, we bond. We're a community. And we can keep doing what we love while still keeping each other safe. We are so thankful to our incredible members that have kept this community spirit alive despite our club closures, but we know that it's in that club environment where the real magic happens. Our round system and No Fixed Class Time model ensures that: Members have a 4m2 allocated space to train at all times Equipment can be cleaned and sanitised between rounds You won't have to wait long to start your workout, with a new round every 3 minutes You can enjoy flexible workouts to suit flexible work hours We can operate as close to normal as usual, with 12 rounds and 1 person per round (or 2 from the same household), and bonus rounds allowing us to train safely within government limits.
