Bernie is well known around Ipswich in the fitness circles as she is always active and trying to meet her fitness goals. You will also see her running through Flinders View most mornings. ... She has now achieved a club record for the time it took her to complete 400 visits. 25.01.2022 COVID SHUT DOWN UPDATE We have been forced to close from 6pm tonight until at least 6pm Monday. We will be open tonight from 3pm to 6pm for your last in club workout of the week.... Brandon will also be doing online zoom classes Saturday morning and Monday morning. Times will be posted in our members only group. All members also have access to our "TRAIN AT HOME" app which has daily at home 12rnd workouts plus more. 24.01.2022 THE CHAMP IS HERE Congratulations to Bronwyn Blaney @blaneybronwyn ... Bronwyn is the winner of our At Home 4 Week Challenge that ran during the Covid-19 lockdown. She is also our most recent member to reach 300 visits and become a 12rnd Fitness Flinders View TRIPLE CENTURION. In just under 3 months from mid March to the start of June Bronwyn: Lost 3.4kg Lost 11.8kgs of Fat Gained 5.1kgs of Muscle Dropped 18.4% body fat Bio Age dropped 9 years to 44 - 11 Years younger than her actual age! Since starting with us she has lost 20.6 kgs. She had her first scan 3 months after starting and had already lost 3.2kgs. But since that scan she has: Lost 20.8 kgs of Fat Gained 3.3kgs of Muscle Dropped 25.5% Body Fat Dropped 13 years on her bio age going from 3 years older to 11 years younger! We couldn't be prouder of her achievements and love having her as part of the team. 19.01.2022 Congratulations to our 12rnd champion Craig Cummings who helped guide his indoor cricket team in the Superleague for Masters A (over 35s) to a Grand Final win! Craig was captain and co-coach. His team finished 3rd overall in the season then won all the sudden death rounds to make the final against the minor premiers Strathpine. They then went on to win the final. Ipswich made 107 runs winning by 36 with Craig winning player of the finals.... Craig was our last 6 week challenge winner and his fitness has improved so much which has helped him continue to compete at a high level. Since they started with us they have both improved leaps and bounds with all areas of their health and fitness. The Covid-19 shut down couldn't even slow these guys up with them committing to our zoom classes and at home app workouts then boot camp when that started. ... 12.01.2022 6 Week Training Camp/Challenge Winners Second Place Bronwyn Blaney - @blaneybronwyn... This was the hardest choice between first and second place we have ever had. It was truly a coin flip which saw Bronwyn finish second. She is one of the hardest workers in our club and continues to improve week after week. During the challenge we ran a 3 week Myzone team challenge which Bronwyn won the most meps for an individual with 5951 meps in 3 weeks and led her team to win the overall challenge. She lost 13.9% body fat. Dropped 8kgs of fat. Increased her muscle by 4.3kgs. And improved her Burpee into clean and press benchmark by 10 reps These are incredibly results in only 6 weeks! 06.01.2022 What an amazing day with a great group of people! To celebrate the end of our 6 Week Challenge trainer Brandon organised an Amazing Race style scavenger hunt around Ipswich. We went all over Ipswich following his clues and even had to play a speed round of mini golf. So many laughs throughout the day and it was great to see everyone let their hair down after pushing so hard during the challenge. ...
