23.01.2022 This week we enter our STRENGTH Phase - where the reps drop and the weight increases. Throughout your workout, challenge yourself to lift heavier than usual. It's important that you constantly challenge your body to push further, in order to avoid plateauing and continue seeing results. However, make sure you utilise the correct form and technique to avoid risk of injury.... Remember, we're here to help! Need a different set of weights than what's on your round, let us know! 23.01.2022 Week 2 of the 8 // Training Camp done and dusted and what better way to end it than by going out for a paddle on the Brisbane River this morning Some of our members rose to the challenge and went out 6:30am to do an actual training with #TeWakaDragons, it wasn’t easy but how AWESOME are you! The next crew turned up for the Come ‘n’ Try, and also did AMAZING! Dragon Boating is not as easy as it looks, like most sports but you all got in there and gave it go! I hope you all had fun to and Thank yous for a great morning! Make sure you stretch as you would have used every muscle in your body, rest up, refuel and we will see you bright an early tomorrow morning in the club. 22.01.2022 A single mother of 2, Amy made time for her training, commiting to at least 4 workouts a week to achieve her goals. After completing our 6 week Training Camp, Amy lost 12.6kg of body weight and dropped 7.6% in body fat! She smashed through her WK01 Benchmarks with amazing improvements in her athletic progression.... Knowing she needed structure and guidelines to achieve results, Amy's coaches said that she thrived throughout Training Camp, remaining consistent with her training and nutrition the whole way through. Even after a shoulder injury, with the help of her coaches, Amy continued her training, adapting her workouts to suit her physio's recommendations but remaining determined. Her coaches said, "she's the kind of person that when she puts her mind to something, she just gets it done." Amy joined our 12RND team in February this year and continued training with us at home throughout club closures, but said that the isolation took a toll on her mentally. Despite those challenges, Amy continued to fight through it, and was the runner-up Club winner of the At Home Training Camp, second to our International Female Winner! 03.01.2022 The 12RND workout doesn't follow a class timetable, and you don't have to book. Our members enjoy No Fixed Class Times where you arrive anytime during opening hours and your workout starts as soon as you're ready. Just like a boxing gym, our rounds are based on a traffic light boxing timerand bell with 3 minutes per round and 30 seconds rest in between. Simply pick any round between 1 to 12 that's available, get ready and get started as soon as you get a green light.
