This week we focus on total bodywork through high repetitions and longer durations to increase muscular and cardiovascular endurance. ... Progress in your training is often not a linear journey, we have good days and bad days, and its important to recognise when its time to RECHARGE. Remember that your body and mind need balance, and cant always be operating at a high intensity or you may burn out. As you approach midway through Training Camp, find time to do something that helps you to rejuvenate.

22.01.2022 Welcome the STRENGTH PHASE - TRAINING // STRENGTH This phase aims to maximise STRENGTH using different exercises specific to fighting, shifting weight and building lean muscle.... The reps drop and the weight increases. Load and speed of movement are the focus, this increase in stimulus leads to targeted muscular development and dramatic improvements in muscle fibre recruitment. TIP // Challenge yourself to pick up the next set of heavier weights to what you usually use on each exercise this week - NUTRITION // PROTEIN OPTIMISATION Proteins are described as the building blocks of the human body and are the most satiating macronutrient, it keeps us feeling fuller for longer and helps us to improve our lean muscle mass.
