25.01.2022 Sometimes a salad just doesn't cut it.... Treat yourself to a burger that has been given the tick of approval from our nutritionist, Miranda Leeden. We know you're gonna love it! INGREDIENTS... 250g extra lean beef mince 2 wholegrain buns 1 egg 1 slice cheese 14 carrot 14 onion, finely chopped 12 teaspoon garlic 12 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 wholemeal roll 12 tomato 1 pineapple ring 1 handful lettuce leaves Tomato sauce METHOD 1. Place mince, carrot, egg, onion and salt into a bowl, mix with clean hands and divide into one patty, if you are doubling the recipe divide patties accordingly. Press patty into a round flat shape. 2. Heat oil in frying pan. Place patties in, turning until cooked through on both sides. 3. Split bun in half, grill until golden and spread with tomato sauce. 4. To put hamburgers together, place cooked meat patty on top of sauce, at cheese as the next layer, then add tomato slice, lettuce and pineapple rings.
