12.01.2022 THE MOST EFFICIENT, CONVENIENT & EFFECTIVE WORKOUT Our 12RND Fitness Workouts are designed to be started at any time, rather than having a class timetable. How it works: 1) Arrive at the club (during opening hours)... 2) Put on your wraps and gloves, and grab your towel 3) Pick a round between 1 - 12 thats has no one, or up to one other person on it 4) When the traffic light turns Green - YOURE ON! The Traffic Light system changes to Amber/Yellow when theres 30 seconds left on a round, then goes Red when its a 30 second rest and time to move to the next round Each round lasts for 3 minutes, so youll be done in under 45 minutes and burn up to 750 calories! 12.01.2022 Ok here we go! Post workout meal! We have found what we want for pre workout meal, but now it is time to see what we should be eating post workout! If you have done a big weight session or cardio session, your macro nutrients should be very similar! Protein!!! For muscle repair and growth is a must! And Carbs carbs carbs carbs! ... If you prefer to eat lower carb, then thats fine, however you must keep your protein high and increase your fat intake if you are reducing your carb intake! Many people shy away from carbs to@try and reduce their body fat percentage. Yes - carbs hold a lot of water weight, but we guarantee that you can have a balanced diet which is not only achievable to your weight loss goals, but also which is maintainable! (I could never give up my sour dough!) Here are some tops post workout meals! 1. Protein oats (oats and a scoop of protein) 2. Delicious sandwich with bread, salad, meat and a source of fat Eg avocado 3. Chicken, rice and vegetables 4. Egg cheese omelette with a slice of toast 5. Tofu stir fry with vegetables and rice 7. A source of meal, potato and salad Post workout shouldnt be complicated! Just create balance on your plate and portion control and you are good to go! We recommend timing your workout just before a main meal such as breakfast, lunch or dinner... because who doesnt want to stuff their faces after a 12rnd workout! 11.01.2022 Are you an early morning riser and get your workout done before 8:00am? We have had many of our members asking what should they eat or if they should eat before a workout. The answer is.... Its up to you and what your goals are! If you are doing a weight or high intensity session, we recommend having a quick carb which can digest fast within 30-40 minute of training. Here are a few tips! ... 1. Juice 2. Corn and rice thins with honey 3. A piece of fruit 4. Popcorn 5. One slice of toast with peanut butter! If you are like me, and prefer to train on an empty stomach but really need that energy hit - have your morning coffee and one tea spoon or chocolate power to make a mocha.
