11.01.2022 Introducing Sensei Sawal who is the Club's Head Coach. He started karate in Singapore at the age of 10 - more than 40 years ago. He was trained as an infantry soldier during his Basic Military Training and later posted to the Navy to serve the rest of his 2.5 years as a National Serviceman. He then joined the government service and worked in the Forensics and Pharmaceutical Labs before coming to Australia to study at Charles Sturt University in Wagga in 1992. He graduated with Bachelor of Business (Accounting/ Economics). He worked in Singapore for 12 years and then moved back to Wagga in 2008. He established the Club in the same year.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Sensei Tracy who is now officially a qualified coach ! The Club has now a total of one Level 2 Coach and eight Level 1 Coaches with National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) certification under the Australian Karate Federation and Australian Sports Commission !

08.01.2022 White Belt Week next week from Monday 16th Nov to Saturday 21st Nov. Please pass your donations to Sensei Sawal or by online direct deposit to the Clubs' bank account. The Club will hand all donations collected to the Wagga Women's Health Centre on the 21st Nov.



08.01.2022 The Club today handed a cheque for $1500 to Jackie from the Wagga Women's Health Centre being the total donation amount collected from our White Belt Week. The Club wishes to thank all members for their support in raising the money to help women in Wagga who experienced the trauma of domestic violence or sexual assault as a child. Thanks to the coaches and assistant coaches for turning up to represent the Club in welcoming Jackie to receive the donation.

07.01.2022 The Club is organising White Belt Week which is our fundraising activity for Wagga Women's Health Centre in conjunction with White Ribbon Day. Sensei Sawal will be handing out information flyers this week. This is our Club's way of giving back to the community by assisting the Centre in supporting women in our community who have experienced trauma including domestic violence and adult survivors of childhood sexual assault.
