23.01.2022 We have just added a new link store, here at the Security Camera shop. Just click on the "Our Online Shop" tab under the cover image. We will be adding additional products from our online store on a regular basis. If you have any questions about any of our products, please ask, we are here to help.

22.01.2022 One the most asked about questions that we are asked, is "how do I view my cameras on my smart phone?". There are a few steps involved in achieving this, one is to ensure that your modem/router has your DVR's IP Address and Port number forwarded/setup correctly. Without the correct port forwarding to your DVR, you will never stream images from your DVR to your Smart Phone over the Internet Cloud! We will add some instructions to our FB Pages, but first I would like to ask, what modem/router people have supplied from their Internet Service Provider. We will then write up instructions, about port forwarding for the different models. We will need both the Brand Name and the Model number so as to ensure your correct instructions.

15.01.2022 THE SKY SR101 ROUTER So as to be able to easily find various Router I will post the different Router in their own post. This Post will be for the Sky SR101. We will run through what we have found to be the common steps required to complete port forwarding for your Sky Router SR101. These are all our written words, so we hope that you can follow them.... As this procedure is to allow for your DVR to be seen through a WAN connection we will start with what you need to completed with your configuration DVR setup. We have found that default IP address for your Sky Router is 192.168.0.1, username = admin and password =sky. So your DVR must be in the same range as your Sky Router, so set your DVR IP to Static and the IP address to 192.168.0.127, Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0, and your gateway to 192.168.0.1. The DVR Static IP address can be any address, as long as you keep the 192.168.0. and we suggest the last range to be 100 to 255, so the .127 to just an example that you can adopt. At his point also make your DVR port number 3800. 3800 seems to work best without any other occurrences with software or hardware. Now that your DVR has been setup correctly and physically connected to the Sky router with a patch Ethernet cable, you are now ready to setup your router. Step 1 :- Open your internet browser, and in the address field type 192.168.0.1. This should bring the main home page for the web server on the Sky Router. Now click on the "Security" tab. At this you may be asked for the log in details, which are stated above, unless you have changed these from default. Step 2 :- Click on the "Services" tab now click the "Add Custom Service" within this new window. Within the new window fill in the Name :- Home DVR Type :- TCP/UDP Start Port :- 3800 and in the Finish Port enter :- 3800 click on the "Apply" button. You should be now taken back to the "Services" screen where the new service should now be showing. Step 3 :- Click on the "Firewall Rules" then under the "Inbound Services" click the "Add" button select the Services drop down option, and the newly created Service should be listed. Please select this service that you created. Beside where it says "Action" change this to "Allow Always" In the "Send to LAN Server" enter the IP address for your DVR, in our example it was 192.168.0.127. "WAN Users" leave as "Any" and "Never" for the "Log" entry. Click the "Apply Button". This should be all there is to do, and you should now have port forwarded your DVR. I hope this now assists you in connecting your DVR to the Internet.
