23.01.2022 Thanks to a NSW Government grant we are upgrading our hardworking Meeting Room furniture. Up for grabs is a solid wooden table and 12 chairs. All are fit for purpose. The table has a few engravings on it but nothing a good sand and varnish won't take care of. If you're interested in taking these off our hands please get in touch and leave a message at 9918 3298.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to our newest Bronzies Shannon Murray, Narelle Kristiansen, Joshua Roberts-Coles, Max Delaney, Danielle Lee and Matthew Pellett who passed their assessment on the weekend. Huge thanks to our Club trainers Mark Head, Rick Mitchell and Steve Broderick and assessors Glenn Everingham and Terry Barber. Attaining your Bronze Medallion is a huge accomplishment and not only do you obtain life saving and surf rescue skills you get to join a great team of volunteers who keep our beach goers safe. You will meet a fantastic bunch of people from all kinds of backgrounds, make some new friends and have a bit of fun along the way. Next course starts on 31 January 2021. 12.01.2022 In near perfect conditions at the beach today the last of our SRC squad passed their course with flying colours. These kids started their SRC back in October 2019 and due to extreme weather events delaying assessment, followed by the suspension of all training and assessments due to COVID-19, were the last in the intial group to be assessed. Congratulations Holly Arnold, Leila Austin, Koby Bujak Upton, Charlotte Crighton, Will Newman, Frankie Small, Hannah Stephenson, Zoe Warrener, Grace Whalley and Byron Wilson. You did it! A special shout out to our Club trainers Dave Roberts, Christian Trinder and Darren Warrener who supported this squad for 13 months!! You guys are the best. Absolutely awesome effort.

12.01.2022 Letting our community know that a Sydney Northern Beaches Support Operations Search and Rescue Training excercise will take place at Avalon Beach tomorrow Saturday 14 November from 7:00am - 10:30am. There will be an increased number of rescue service craft and services on and around the beach at this time.
