24.01.2022 Day 1: 2020 NSW Senior State Age Championships. What a cracking start! The heats sessions saw lots of great swimming by the mighty Team SOPAC! The finals session had us all on the edge of our seats with fabulous individual swims by: Declan Quirk: silver medal 16 years 100m Freestyle Josh Hertz: silver medal 18 years and over 50m Freestyle Matt Wilson: gold medal 100m Breaststroke Samson Barisic: bronze 15 years 200m Backstroke... James Gauci: gold medal 14 years 100m Butterfly All the relays were so exciting with special mention to the boys tonight who were a force. Congratulations to the following teams: Boys 14 years 4 x 50m relay team; gold medal with James, Cooper, Matthew and Marcus Boys 16 years 4 x 50 medley relay team ; silver medal with Samson, Haig, Declan and Rieley. Well done to all swimmers and coaches. At the end of day 1 Team SOPAC is placed 2nd. 06.01.2022 A massive shout out of congratulations to all swimmers who competed at the NSW Junior Metropolitan Championships on the weekend. In March this year at the same event the SOPAC team placed 7th; an amazing result! This weekend the team were nothing short of brilliant and placed an incredible 3rd!
