20.01.2022 2016 Hesket Estate Blanc de Noir Sparkling Macedon Ranges, VIC @ $27 Single vineyard, 100% Pinot Noir made in the traditional Champagne method. We first came across this sparking whilst dining at Cumulus Inc. It was the 2015 vintage, and we were very impressed indeed. Weeks later we purchased some for the store. It was extremely popular, and we have now moved on to the new 2016 vintage release. ... Production is tiny and the winery does not have an agent, so all deliveries come direct from the winery. The Hudspeth Stevenson family planted their first vines in the early 1980s and now 40 years on make small parcel, single vineyard wines. The 2016 release does not have the blush colour of the 2015.
