21.01.2022 Most people experience this even when they are surrounded by a group of people. People can feel lonely at any given time and it can happen to any one of us. Here are some helpful tips to get you moving: - Start small with social interactions, you don’t need to be surrounded by large groups of people just a small group is sufficient until your mood is stabilized. - Hang out with like minded people, particularly those that sh...are similar interests to you. - Get active even if it’s for 20mins, those 20mins can pump enough adrenaline into your system which can help alter your moods. - Keep a journal of your emotions and thoughts, sometimes this can help you to self reflect and put things into perspective. - Get some help - if you’ve tried a few things and it hasn’t worked then get some professional help. Sometimes these strategies won’t help if you’ve experienced prolonged periods of loneliness. #13branches See more
10.01.2022 Today, we had the pleasure of delivering a presentation on the issue of porn addiction. Since the conception of the internet, pornography has increased rapidly. The readily available material online means that everything is available at an instant click. . Porn addiction is a real issue, it affects relationships and damages a person physiologically and psychologically. It is... estimated that by the year 2020 over 5.72 trillion pages will be visited at any given time on porn sites. It is also estimated that 89% of porn will depict violence against women. The statistics are shocking and increasing. The #Aware campaign is trying to abolish stigmas around such issues and create conversations to help raise awareness around this topic. Do your part and spread the word so we can help those who are silent sufferers. Porn addiction is real and we need to collectively as a community work together to help overcome it. #13branches See more

05.01.2022 Whilst we believe that these kind of atrocities only happen in third world countries where lack of education is an issue, it happens just as bad in countries like Australia whereby civilization has reached its peak. 93% of perpetrators of sexual assault are men and the rest women. The trauma that these young men and women have to carry with themselves on a daily basis is heartbreaking. Sometimes it takes years for these victims to even come out and discuss their painstaking journeys. Trauma of such nature needs professional intervention. If you know someone who has been through it or is going through it then please get them the help they need. Also be mindful that the perpetrator may not even be a stranger, it may just be someone you know who is very close to you. Keep your kids safe. #13branches
