22.01.2022 Gday trackers, As some of you may not know, my kidney transplant has retired hurt. Im back on Dialysis and doing really well. In the next few months we will be re fitting Beachtracks studio space. We will continue to offer recording ,production, mixing, etc but we will also make our spaces available for hire inc options for drums, bass, guitar, foldback, etc. Stay tuned for updates.... 08.01.2022 We've recently made a few additions to the Gear List Guys: We are now running a full 24 Input system into Pro Tools at 44.1 or 48kHz. (elevated sample rates of up to 96k are achievable with reduced track counts). Pre's are Focusrite and Presonus, with a pair of JLM transformer based BAD's in the rack as well. A new compressor has landed in the form of a lovely little red box from the folks at Golden Age Projects in Sweden, the venerable Comp-54 which is a diode bridge design... in the spirit of the Neve 2254. This is a lovely thing to track vocals, acoustic instruments and drums through. Soon we will also take delivery of another Swede- a vintage Hagstrom Swede model from 1975. Mahogany and Ebony toneful goodness. We'll put up some pics soon. Want some 'Steel on your tracks? How about some vintage Sho-Bud Pedal Steel? We have a selection of collectable vintage amps to put this gorgeous and rare (in Australia) instrument through! 03.01.2022 Beachtracks is thrilled to announce we are now running Pro Tools 12.x with plugins from SoundToys (Full Suite), Waves (API emulations, Kramer Tape, Schepps 73, J37 Tape, CLA-76) Slate Digital (Everything!!!), IK Multimedia (lots of different T-Racks - These are great sounding plugs), Vertigo VSC 2 Comp, Elysia museq, Lindell Audio 254E Comp, SSL (Drumstrip, Buss Comp) and Millennia NSEQ-2.
