National Stroke Week is the 4-10 of Sept. High Blood pressure is one of the most important known risk factors for stroke. This year the nurses at PHMC will be conducting Risk Assessment health checks. Your BP and waist measurement along with a brief collection of your history will be taken to dete...rmine your individual risk of stroke. During this assessment, the nurses will be able to talk to you about what you can do to lower your risk and what the next step is if you are considered to be a moderate-high risk. 09.01.2022 Port Hedland Medical Centre is welcoming another Doctor to the team. Dr Ruo (Tony) Xie came to PHMC in August as a Locum. Dr Tony will be commencing at the centre on Monday 19/12/18. We welcome Dr Tony who is skilled and experienced in General Practice and will be working alongside our existing skilled team of doctors.
