04.01.2022 Christmas can evoke a range of feelings and emotions. If you are struggling through the festive season and need support there are a number of organisations there to offer 24/7 support.

03.01.2022 Today marks 125 years since the Sisters of St John of God arrived in Western Australia from Ireland to tend to sick miners suffering from typhoid, cholera and tuberculosis, putting themselves at great risk to provide aid to those in need. We celebrate this day annually and call it Foundation Day. Foundation Day is particularly poignant this year as our caregivers work tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, embodying the values that the Sisters held dear while caring for those in need. Thank you to all of our caregivers who continue to live the values of the Sisters of St John of God. https://bit.ly/3ljRBWp

As part of Dementia Action Week we follow one caregiver’s journey: Melanie was just one caregiver across all of our Melbourne sites including Frankston, Pinelodge Clinic and Berwick that raised their hands to support aged-care residents in need.
