Pleas see below list of criteria for COVID-19 screening. You should be tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) if you have: *Fever OR chills in the absence of an alternative diagnosis that explains the clinical presentation (including consideration of potential co-infection with other illness)* OR *Acute respiratory infection (e.g. cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, anosmia or loss of smell or loss of taste) Note: In addition, testing is recommended for people with new onset of other clinical symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (at clinical discretion) AND who are close contacts of a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19); who have returned from overseas in the past 14 days; or who are healthcare or aged care workers Who should not be tested for coronavirus (COVID-19)? 21.01.2022 Campaspe - Get Tested Now Calling on all rural and regional areas - Any symptoms - get tested. It’s not over yet. Now, more than ever we need all Victorians - no matter where they are - to be vigilant; adhere to physical distance guidelines, maintain hygiene practices and crucially they must get tested if they have any symptoms, and stay at home.... No matter where we live, we all have a crucial role to play in getting on top of this. And we need everyone to help. We must all play a part in talking to our family, friends, neighbours and communities to ensure that they all understand what is at stake and what they have to do - no matter how hard. The behaviour is clear: Any symptoms - get tested. It’s important to get tested for coronavirus at the first sign of any symptom and stay home until you get your result. Getting tested means you keep yourself, your friends, family, workplace and your community safe. The Victorian Government is offering a one-off $300 payment to support Victorian workers, including parents and guardians, who are required to self-isolate while you wait for the results of your coronavirus (COVID-19) test as well as a one-off $1,500 worker support payment for Victorian workers who test positive and are required to self-isolate. Victorian’s can call 1800 675 398 (option 8) to register for support For more information on eligibility criteria, visit the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Worker support payment page.
