25.01.2022 We're incredibly excited to announce that we are now taking bookings for our re-opening from 4th November onwards! We will have additional tables out the front for you to enjoy outside dining, and limited spaces available inside. At this time, bookings will be reserved for parties having both food and drinks. 22.01.2022 Let us do the cooking this weekend. Enjoy pasta & vino for 2 with our lamb ‘Alla Romana’ orecchiette. This is lamb cooked the Roman way! Slow braised until tender with shallots, garlic, rosemary, chilli, anchovies and white wine, then browned with a crust of bread crumbs, Parmesan and parsley. Traditionally served with polenta, we take these flavours and combine them with our home made orecchiette for a seriously mouth watering meal. 09.01.2022 SPOTLIGHT ON: 2018 Athletes of Wine 'Vino Athletico' Chardonnay, Macedon Ranges, Victoria This refreshing Chardonnay from the guys at Athletes of Wine has notes of grapefruit, yellow peach and pear. It's a minimal intervention wine, made via organic practices with minimal chemical inputs. You might remember us pouring their 2016 Vinero Chardonnay a while back, which many of you loved for its buttery and creamy notes. This one is similar - slightly leaner but sure to still impress. Easy to drink on its own or perfect with raw or lighter plates: ceviche, scallop or prawn crudo. Winemaker Liam is a friend of HWC and a fellow hospo worker (Athletes of Wine is just his side project!) so we love supporting him. $45 take home #hamptonwineco

01.01.2022 SPOTLIGHT ON: 2017 Spider Bill Nebbiolo, Adelaide Hills, South Australia As far as interesting names go, this one is up there! A boutique operation, Spider Bill are making delicious small batch wine from premium parcels of Adelaide Hills fruit. Head winemaker Tarrant's love of Nebbiolo lead him to Piedmont, where he learned old techniques of handcrafting Nebbiolo. The result is a beautifully structured drop with notes of black plums, strawberries and prunes, with a savoury finish. If you are looking for a vino similar to a Pinot but with a little more tannin structure, this is your guy. Drink on it's own or pairs well with tomato based pasta sauces! Pick up from HWC during Provedore opening hours - Wed - Sun 4pm - 7pm. #hamptonwineco

Enjoy a Zoom masterclass with Alex Rougeot from Clos Cachet and Domaine Rougeot, as he takes you through some beautiful premium wines from his families own Domaine in Burgundy, France. A dream for fans of this region, Alex will share is in depth knowledge and stories of each vintage over the course of this two hour masterclass. Your ticket includes six wines (100ml each) deli...vered to your door for tasting, plus an exclusive Swiss made, hand blown crystal Grassl glass to heighten the experience - valued at $65 and yours to keep.
