25.01.2022 Our Year 3 students have been developing their fluency reading aloud. Today they read to small groups of Prep/One students with confidence and enthusiasm. A’isha chose to share a beautiful piece on the piano to which a year one commented that it was the most beautiful music he’d ever heard.

17.01.2022 It's a rainbow of carrots! We made a delicious Stir fry with garlic, spring onions, kale, spinach silverbeet, cauliflower & carrots of course ALL grown in our very own garden! The p-6 students are sowing, harvesting, preparing, designing, cooking, mulching, composting & creating every week. Harvest Cafe is SO much more than just a kitchen-garden program!

16.01.2022 Today we had SO much fun harvesting Jerusalem artichokes (not from Jerusalem nor are they actual artichokes!). Root vegetables are always a surprise to see what has been growing under the soil. Edible treasure is the best kind of treasure!

The students know how important pollinators are to the success of the patch & how much produce we can grow.
