08.01.2022 Each year as we prepare to enter Advent, that most beautiful season of hope and promise, this little verse from Jan Richardson is etched on our FB page and in o...ur hearts... "The season of Advent means there is something on the horizon the likes of which we have never seen before. It is not possible to keep it from coming, because it will. That's just how Advent works. What is possible is not to see it, to miss it, to turn just as it brushes past you. And you begin to grasp what it was you missed, like Moses in the cleft of the rock, watching God's hindquarters fade in the distance. So stay. Sit. Linger. Tarry. Ponder. Wait. Behold. Wonder. There will be time enough for running. For rushing. For worrying. For pushing. For now, stay. Wait. Something is on the horizon." ~ from Night Visions by Jan Richardson Blessings on this vigil of Advent...let us pray for one another that we will be able to "stay", "sit", "wonder" with our Advent horizon.

07.01.2022 Prepare the way of the Lord.......

01.01.2022 Shining Bright! That will be us and our church this Christmas season! Plans are afoot to decorate the hall and put festive lights around the outside of the church and on some of the lower trees and shrubs. ... If you have extra Christmas lights and decorations, in good condition, that you are not using this year we’d very much appreciate being able to use them. John T and Connie A will collect the decorations and lights. If you would like to participate in this joyful decorating activity please let them know. Thank You!
