09.01.2022 Last week Menai WfG donated a tray of Pink flannel flowers (Actinotus forsythii) to the ANBG. Curator David Taylor accepted them with enthusiasm. If all goes well they will form a centerpiece of the Summer display of sandstone species.

09.01.2022 Someone has stolen two of our native beehives. One from the Illawong Rural Fire Station garden and one from our adjoining compound. Very disappointing. People usually respect the Rural Fire Services too much. The hives were similar too this one without the white tape. The theft has been reported to the police.
