17.01.2022 Update on AIPG events for 2020 Due to the uncertainties of the corona virus and it’s effect on the community we have decided to heed government advice and have put our grooming events on hold for 2020 and beyond to make sure we don’t add to the problem The way Corona virus is spreading and expanding throughout communities both home and abroad is making it very difficult to have confidence in planning events and guarantee individuals safety from the virus in our opinion... Recently Milangroom and the Zenith Event which was to host the EGA World Teams were postponed and we believe more events will follow given that outbreaks of the virus are increasing both in Australia and around the world With International judges, competitors and groomers from different states from within Australia attending we believe this to be the most responsible course of action in the best interests of the wider community Once the virus is noted to be under control we will schedule our contests again and advise accordingly Hopefully the situation will be contained in the coming months and we will be able to announce a date for groomQuest sometime in the future but no date can be confirmed at the moment Groom Team Australia (GTA) With the recent postponement of the EGA World Teams Event which was to have taken place in May this year, all Groom Team Australia qualifiers for the 2022 team are also on hold We await instruction from EGA as to when the World Teams event will be rescheduled but obviously this is also dependent on the Corona virus being managed to a point where they can guarantee safety for all attending A timeframe is not possible to estimate at this stage when the competition will be held The current 2020 Australian Groom Team will be retained to compete at the next World Team Event at a date to be advised The current pointscore from the 2019 qualifying contest for the 2022 team will be valid and competitors will be notified once dates are confirmed in the future for further qualifying dates As mentioned it will be a wait and see as to when future Groom Team Australia qualifiers will held and we will keep you updated as information becomes available

09.01.2022 Hi Groomers. Just an update on Groom Team Australia Thanks to the wonderful support from all those that attended our fundraisers and the brilliant sponsorship f...rom DGS Imports, Plush Puppy , OZGrooming and Blackpants Workwear , we have been pretty organised for some time and are all ready to go to the World Titles in Dijon , France Just letting you know that everything is booked and there is only 90 days to go until the event Still time to book flights etc if anyone else would like to come over for the experience. It is well worth it It is a crazy busy time once we are over there and will do our best to keep you updated while we are away As usual the team will do it's best and be proud to represent Australia and themselves Fingers crossed we can finish in the medals and show the rest of the world the depth of grooming talent we have in our wonderful country From experience your moral support by way of messages etc really does give team members a boost We are a long way from home and miss our family & friends so please don't be shy to let the team know you are thinking of them. Every little bit helps We will also take many photo's etc to post on social media while we are away and look forward to the great experience that the EGA World teams Event brings
