South Australia is already open to all other states without a requirement to quarantine or self-isolate. 17.01.2022 South Australian Field & Game State Titles at Loxton 12th & 13th September 2020 Amidst a pandemic and parts of the country still in lockdown, 85 very fortunate sporting clay shooters travelled to Loxton Field and Game Association Incorporated to compete in the 2020 South Australian Field & Game Association state championships over the weekend of 12th & 13th of September. With sponsorship provided by Outdoor Trading Company Aus. Torresan Estate, Top Shot Industries & OSA Austr...alia Ray Pash and his small crew with some assistance from Chris Ball set 75 targets per day over the Loxton range. Near perfect warm conditions on the first day saw Senior Chris Ball and Junior Daniel Falco leading the field overnight both on 70/75. Day two, in slightly cooler weather conditions the cream rose to the top and for the fourth year in a row Jeremy Kent took out the South Australian Field & Game Championship shooting 139/150. AA Grade was taken out by Gavin Dyson 137/150, Tim Widdison had to out muscle Jim Bologiannis in a shoot off for second & third. Michael McKinnon 133/150 was a model of consistency all weekend to win A Grade from Alex Button & Hayden Brown. Local Brad Gillespie 125/150 came out on top of the B Grade defeating Luciano Palumbo and Brenton Denny. The experienced Mike Lane 104/150 claimed the C Grade crown from Scott Hall and Michael Gates. Chris Ball 137/150 continued his good form to take the senior title from Chris Wright and the hard working Ray Pash. The veterans needed a long shoot off to determine the winner with Grant Baum defeating Malcolm Whitehead to claim the title, John Monaghan took out the minor placing. Janette Densely 125/150 took out the Ladies category with a big win over Jill Marden and Kate ball. The Junior category saw Daniel Falco take out an emphatic win over Ben Hastings and N.Marden. Nick Bologiannis 122/125 took out the sub juniors by a solitary target over Declan Wright and Seb Angus back in third. 12.01.2022 COMING TO MELBOURNE GUN CLUB IN 2021 We are pleased to announce as we are affiliated with Sporting Clays Australia and Victorian Sporting Clays Association that... we will be hosting Compak Sporting events in 2021 at our range. We will have the capacity to run 4 layouts all on electronic microphone release systems with a wide range of target selections available. We look forward to announcing dates of events soon and also hosting some major events for this exciting discipline in the future. These events will be open to all SCA, FGA, ACTA & SSAA members to compete at. Stay tuned
