13.01.2022 Effective from this Saturday, 25 May, parking in the CBD will be free after 2pm on Saturdays and all day on Sundays! IMPORTANT It will take several weeks... to update signage and ticket machines. This means signs and machines will be incorrect in the short term - but from 2pm on Saturday and all day Sunday, if you don’t pay, you won’t be fined. However, due to administrative complexities, refunds will not be issued if you pay by mistake. No time limits during these hours. Normal rules apply to loading zones, taxi zones, bus zones, no parking zones and disability bays. Paid parking and time limits still apply at the Southern Esplanade (Lagoon/Pier) car park and Lake Street multi-storey car park.
