Staff from council's Depot team and contractors recently laid turf and planted shrubs along the King George Avenue entrance to the cemetery, as part of the improvement works. Inside the cemetery, 47 sunken graves have been repaired to prevent safety issues and a number of footpaths have been regraded to improve the surface and reduce dust. Council allocated $40,000 in this year's budget to carry out the improvement works which will also include new bins, benches and upgraded signage.

The two fledglings are now 35 days old and will stay with their parents while learning to fly. The birds are still vulnerable to attack and a big thanks to the community who are doing a great j...ob of leashing their dogs near the breeding zone. BirdLife Australia Green Adelaide Please note these photos have been taken by trained volunteers using a telephoto lens, and the image has also been heavily cropped, ensuring the birds are not disturbed.
