16.01.2022 As of lunch time today to adhere to the current regulations we have reduced our seating capacity by half. We are still open for business as usual with some restrictions on seating and standing areas. Please help us by making a booking so that we can help make your experience as good as we can! 08.01.2022 Hi All, We just wanted to update everyone on how the lifting of restrictions will apply to us. Unfortunately as we are a HOTEL we are excluded from opening this weekend.... From Friday, 22 May licensed restaurants and unlicensed cafes: Currently outdoor dining of up to 10 people only will be expanded to allow up to 10 patrons inside in addition to the outdoor, i.e. 20 in total. This will include the capacity to drink alcohol with a meal. Other licensed venues (HOTELS, licensed clubs, on-licences, clubs, small venues, producers etc) are prevented from providing this service. From Friday, 5 June: All licences including hotels etc. will be able to open with the exception of gaming rooms. The Government is yet to determine the number and nature of patronage allowed but it is likely to be 20 max per distinct area. A distinct area would be an alfresco/beer garden, a dining room, lounge or a bar. However, alcohol will only be available with the consumption of food while seated at a table. Unfortunately it means that many people will miss out on a table, there will be time restrictions for each booking and deposits will need to be made to ensure people just don't rock up for their booking. This is disappointing to us and it will be trial and error until we can work out a good way to implement the restrictions for both our customers and our business. Until then we will still be offering takeaway food and alcohol. We really look forward to the time we can have people enjoying their time in the Tavern.

05.01.2022 Here is our new takeaway menu We have lowered our prices however the quality and serving sizes are still the same. Delivery is available in the evenings if needed. Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

04.01.2022 We will be operating at a reduced level until the government deems it safe enough to open back at full capacity. In the short term we are still offering takeaway food ( the whole menu) and takeaway alcohol and other drinks. We are also offering a free delivery service in Marion Bay and surrounding areas. 01.01.2022 Thank you for everyone’s support so far with take away food and drinks Here is the pizza menu for those who wish to do a phone order. We also post a new takeaway menu ASAP. Our current menu is still available. Tonight’s special is an eye fillet steak cooked to your liking with any sauce, served with chips and salad for $25 and we can deliver!!!

01.01.2022 Happy weekend everyone We have just been updated with some information that is both positive and negative. The Premier has just announced that as of 4.30pm today, Friday 22 May ALL licensed venues, including hotels, are able to trade with the following conditions:... - Seated dining with a meal only - with 10 patrons inside and 10 patrons outdoor, i.e 20 in total. - Alcohol can be served with a meal - Only 1 person per 4sqm - Social distancing of 1.5m must be maintained in the venue where possible. Due to the sudden information we will be unable to seat anyone until next week due to the fact that we need to reinstate our menu, order keg beer and get staff on board. Please be patient with our transition we are excited to have people in our venue but we need time to get everything up to scratch. Looking forward to it
