The home features an award winning renovation and extension by Paul Owen (formerly Owen and Vokes), this is the first time this tightly held property has been for public sale in 30 years. 22.01.2022 [Before & After] Sharing a love for art deco homes, in 1998 the current owners purchased this run down but original condition 1940 built modernist beauty. They spent a couple of years lovingly restoring the house and creating structured gardens, before engaging architect Paul Owen (Owen Architecture, formerly of Owen and Vokes) to undertake an extension opening up the back of the house creating a large open plan kitchen, family living space, dining room and undercover alfres...co entertaining area. A little more landscaping and the addition of a salt water pool and this home became the masterpiece it is today. The renovation was judged to have been very sympathetic to the original house and its modernist influences.
