14.01.2022 Aaaanddd we're off! What is this? Civilian clothes?! You would be assuming correctly that a couple who buy a camping ground enjoy camping themselves. It's been nearly two years since we've been able to enjoy our own trip... and thanks to these guys - we are off! ... Two weeks camping for us. And two weeks running the park for Jason & Shayne. If you're visiting in the next couple of weeks these two faces will be here to greet you and ensure you have an amazing stay. We met Jason & Shayne when they were guests here in the park and over the last few months have given us a hand on some weekends when one or both of us had obligations out in the real world. 14.01.2022 These little chunkers could not be more different. Pig litters are normally between 6-12 so to only end up with two is very rare. For those who followed along the journey you will know that Pumpkin had many still births after we almost lost mumma pig during her pregnancy. Bangers is the little dude and he is a mammas boy through and through. Since birth he just wants to be by his mums side. Following her around, stressing if he can't see her, wanting attention and affection... at all times. He's our little snuggler and loved giving kisses and cuddling up for a nap. Mash, our little independent lady is the complete opposite. Happy to ditch her brother and the rest of the family and go adventuring on her own. More happy exploring or digging in the wallow than hanging out with the rest of the hoofers. The first month of their lives both piglets napped and slept right next to Pumpkin, but the last couple of weeks Mash has been sleeping with a bit of a gap. Whilst Bangers has to be touching someone else at all times. Tonight on my way through the park Bangers was sleeping ON TOP of Spud (daddy pig) I so wish I could have taken a photo! Bangers & Spud in particular have really bonded (my theory is they are both attention hogs - ha get it!) and so love having each other's snuggly company. We adore watching this piggy family grow and learn and interact with each other. 2020 has been an interesting year, but this lot have definitely made it a little bit special #piglet #pig #farmstay #camping #glamping #cabins #tinyhouse #familyholiday #staycation #sunshinecoast
