17.01.2022 Rice for Life Update on the progress of Mrs Srengs home. A beautiful image of this dear lady sitting inside her home as it comes together. This was a life dream for her to someday have a home that could keep her and the children she looks after safe and dry from the elements. This lovely lady never had walls or a floor in her home and within 2 days thanks to Denron Metals, Kevin Perks and Sam Sands she can finally stay sheltered from the harsh elements. Thankyou to Hun Rerngsey and the team for their amazing work.
16.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who supported this trip with Project Rice For Life.I have include a few photos from what has been a long hot day.We visited 25 families in... three villages.I will send each of our sponsors images and information of the families they assisted in the coming days..Cant thankyou all enough for the support you have given. A quick note this trip we focused a lot on mothers that were raising families on their own.A number of mums had lost husbands in road or work accidents and were left with little or no income. They were so grateful for your help.once I get some more pics from the guys I will add them to the post. So I am truly happy to motivate them to speak English more than Khmer language in our classes.....I know every second language is not easy to learn but if we take our mind to do it so everything is possible. The first day isnt much easy but the next month or so....it wont be their matter anymore. Thanks for your watching! See us on www.cambodiachildfirst.org All the best regards,Yat.

06.01.2022 RICE FOR LIFE CAMBODIA February update. With the recent/ongoing devastating bushfires here in Australia I am reluctant to ask for assistance with my Cambodia Rice For Life Program. What I do say is help your fellow Aussies in any way you can, they need it right now.. Having said this I will be in Cambodia in February with my son Charlie and we will be hitting the ground to assist dozens of families doing it hard. What I have done is put together a number of personal items I h...ave acquired over the journey of my drumming life and will be auctioning them myself to personally fund this next Project. You will be helping a family in need while also getting yourself a very cool drum item. I will be listing the items over the next week starting with this super sex Pork Pie Hip Pig 14x6.5 Mahogany snare drum. The asking price is $159 (retail $309) and will feed 10 families with rice and vegetables for the month. If you can share my post with any of your drum mates it would be greatly appreciated. As per our normal procedure, all supporters will be supplies a photo and information on the family they assisted at the end of each day we do a field trip. Many thanks Scotty See more
