19.01.2022 Earlier this year our community offered their feedback on a review process that takes place every eight years within Council. The Representation Review takes into consideration the principal member of Council, as well as the composition of Council. Your feedback helped to inform the Draft Representation Review Report, which is currently open for consultation until Tuesday 24 November. If you're interested in how your community is represented, we encourage you to take a look... and have your say. makingmarion.com.au/representation-review-2020 #cityofmarion #makingmarion

15.01.2022 A helpful summary of information regarding the latest COVID-19 updates from South Australia Police

11.01.2022 Sometimes it's the small things that make a big difference to someone’s day With many of us working from home, more cars parked on the street is making it harder for our waste collection trucks to collect our bins without drivers having to get out of their trucks. This exposes drivers doing essential work for our community to even more risk and may cause delays in service.... You can help by placing your bins where they are easily accessible, so the driver has plenty of space to manoeuvre the truck and collect your bins safely. A good spot might be in the middle or on the inside edge of your driveway (as pictured). Placing your bin on the verge is okay too as long as there’s plenty of space for the truck to access the bin (1m from trees and parked cars, and 30cm spacing between bins). Thank you for your understanding and for helping the drivers who continue to collect bins throughout COVID-19 - together we can help keep our essential workers safe! #cityofmarion
