23.01.2022 Community Shed open this afternoon from 1:00pm folks. Pop in and say hello!

23.01.2022 Due to today's temperatures the Community Shed will be open for a couple of hours this morning but will be closed this afternoon.

22.01.2022 The Brompton Spring Fair is fast approaching and this year there will be a small maker market of products from local makers, creators and artists. Our Community Shed has joined in and is making a range of patio and planter boxes from recycled pallets and packaging. As well as a bespoke, finely crafted planter box you'll be able to get all your plants too! Make sure to mark the 29th November in your diary and keep up to date by following the Brompton Spring Fair Event listing.

16.01.2022 A Big shout to James from The Walking Creative who is painting a new mural at the Excelsior Hotel on Hawker Street. It is nice to see that even in these uncertain times the arts community finds a way to bring some colour to the world!

16.01.2022 Hi folks, a quick shout out to few of our Community Shed members who have taken on the challenge of building bird boxes for species impacted by the bushfires in the Adelaide Hills and on Kangaroo Island. If you have a community project you are passionate about but need help getting off the ground, why not come and chat to us here at 19 on Green? That's what we are here to do.

16.01.2022 Hi folks, there are a couple of spots available for this afternoon's Expressive Poetry. This will be an introspective session which explores self expression in the form of poetry. No previous writing experience is needed, just take an hour out to put some of your thoughts and feelings into words. Starts at 3:00pm, follow the link for more information.

Made from salvaged pallets and vegetable packaging, they are perfect for herb gardens, some leafy greens or a patch of flowers on your patio. We make to order, so send us a message for the prices and dimensions of our Brompton Produce Box and we'll get to work. Want to assemble it yourself? Join us on a Friday afternoon where our Community Shed can provide tools, equipment and assistance!

03.01.2022 Hi folks, our Charles Sturt Library Service has organised a great workshop for anyone with an interest in creating video content. In Video production for beginners you will explore equipment and software, script writing, sound and video recording and complete a unique video project. Video content is an increasingly important tool for business, charities and community organisers to share what you do and engage new audiences.... If you want to improve your understanding of the basics and learn some practical skills, join us here at 19 on Green.

02.01.2022 Hi folks, we thought we would take this opportunity to introduce Ginny our Chair Yoga instructor. Ginny has over 20 years of experience and is passionate about teaching yoga to include everybody. Her philosophy is that yoga is a wonderful way to bring a sense of well being in body and mind to everyone no matter what age, body type, or level of physical fitness. We'll be continuing our COVID Safe Chair Yoga every Tuesday morning from 10:00am. Why not join us!
